    This thing is great. It gets hot, very hot. Weeds don't stand a chance. The torch could be a little longer for taller people but still a good buy. The hose is long enough you don't have to move the tank very much. I strapped mine to a two wheel dolly so it's easy to move around. The turbo part does eat up more gas but you don't have to use it all the time. It has a knob for flame control. Over all, if you have weeds, get this. It works.

    I bought this torch to fill cracks in my driveway. It was easy to connect to my 20 lb propane tank and the sparkler button started it every time. The flame is very hot but controllable with the adjusting knob. Can’t wait to try it in some weeks. Ext spring.

    Mine came in a sort of hacked together box which gave me some concern, but the product inside was in perfect condition. It is nice size and weight and the flame is exceptional. The instructions were not very clear, but after a little fidgeting you should be able to figure it all out. I have owned a couple of these and this one is the best of the bunch. Price to quality is very good. I expect this to last a good while.

    This burner generates some serious heat. Weeds don't stand a chance. So far it has worked flawlessly and is easy to use. It does seem to use a fair amount of propane but that's to be expected when you are generating 1.2 million BTU. This torch needs to be used with respect and common sense. Use proper safety gear and have a charged garden hose or fire extinguisher at hand. You could really start a fire in dry conditions. This is also attractive nuisance for children. It attracts them like a magnet. I make sure there are no children around when I use it. It is definitely not a toy.

    Well made, easy to connect, adjust, and use. I mainly use it for killing weeds in gravel and rock landscaping and it works great.

    I was amazed by this torch from the first light off. Super powerful. Like an F-18 on afterburners. Incinerated weeds within seconds. But after the third or fourth use, it wouldn’t stay lit and only produced a weak yellow flame, not the powerful blue one that does the job.

    I contacted Quanie customer relations and received an immediate reply. They suggested I try a few things before moving forward. I had already tried the remedies based on other reviews, but I tried them again. Nothing worked.
    I contacted Quanie again, included a screen shot of my order confirmation. They have shipped a new torch, which I should receive in a couple of days. No need to ship the old one back.
    Fantastic customer service! I highly recommend this product, knowing that they will absolutely, and quickly, honor their two year warranty.

    Love using this product gets the job done fast! I'm a 73-year-old lady suffering from arthritis in my hands so using hands and some yard tools to eliminate weeds really hurst my hands the Quaine weed touch kills the weeds fast and easy. I also used weed torch to burn a tree stump that also worked great I had tried burning using lighter fluid but couldn't keep the fire going 1200 BTUs charred it!!!! Using pickax was slow and painful. Lights easy with push of button, easy to connect to my propane tank and the 10 ft long hose is great to work in a larger area without moving your tank. I did find that attaching the propane to my hand truck was a great idea and was prefect to move tank. Keep your hose handy, read your manual and enjoy eliminating your weeds fast and easy!!! I have wanted a torch burner weeder when I saw several years ago an article in Southern Living wish I had bought one before now. So much easier than using my string trimmer on my stone pathway. FIVE STARS for this product.
