About this item

DUAL-USE RAKE – attach to any extension pole or handle to clean leaves and debris from the roof or flip over and use as a standard lawn rake to rake leaves (POLE SOLD SEPARATELY) - Rake tines should be sprayed with WD-40 prior to opening the first time
EXPANDABLE RAKE HEAD – the rake head expands from a fan width of 7.5” to 20”, enabling easy rake adjustment depending on the job; the narrower width is ideal for cleaning roof valleys or raking narrow areas, while the expanded width is ideal for flat roof sections and general yard raking
EASY STORAGE – the collapsibility of the rake head makes for easy storage; at only 7.5” inches wide, the rake head can easily be stored on a shelf or in a corner
COMBINE WITH A 12’ OR 24’ DOCAPOLE EXTENSION POLE – to create the ultimate dual-use roof and yard rake, pair the rake head with our DocaPole 6 to 24 foot telescopic pole; the 6 foot length is ideal for raking the yard, while 24’ feet is perfect for cleaning the roof (POLE SOLD SEPARATELY)
GROUND-LEVEL SAFETY - Why risk life and limb on a wobbly ladder when you can stay safely planted on the ground? Our pole-mounted tools offer a safer alternative to ladder climbing, allowing you to tackle elevated maintenance tasks with confidence and ease. With our innovative attachments, you can achieve sky-high results without ever setting foot on a ladder, ensuring both your safety and the success of your projects.

5.0 out of 5 stars works great, did the job

Pretty sturdy pole when extended, I no longer have to climb my 30" ladder. As long as you leave the recommended 6 inches inside each extended pole it shouldn't break. I actually used the brush attachment on my roof to get some leaves off the gables. I had also received the 90 degree attachment and the duster attachment along with the rake.

this rake head on a quality paint pole is an awesome tool. got a deck that gets leaves under it - this can squeeze into places your blower or conventional rake can’t get. I have made all sorts of contraptions from 3/4” or 1” pvc with a rake handle named in side to taping a broken rake to a paint stick. No more, this can get supper narrow or wide depending on the need. so what’s my gripe? the set screw needs to be relocated. It currently sits on the bottom of the rake (6 o’clock). it it were I stead located at 3 or 9 o’clock it would not damage the surface you are raking. I can get leaves off of low sloped shingle roofs with this but I have to be extremely careful so I don’t scratch/damage the roof. if the wing nut was on the top (12 o’clock) it could break or damage surfaces when you go under something- on the side would be perfect!

    highly recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars I have it still in the box.

Want to use it on the roof for the leaves. It comes with a long box, so it should reach to far places on the roof. The rake head is adjustable to make it narrow, or wide. Also, can be used as an yard rake.

3.0 out of 5 stars Reasonable extension pole, not particularly durable nor well-designed
Reviewed in the United States on July 20, 2020
An update on my initial review, below. Besides a poorly-designed rake head attachment, the threaded end of the pole sheared off after 4 years of occasional use.

Previous Revew Follows: I received the 24' pole with expandable rake attachment, angle piece and dust mop attachment (thanks for the latter?). The pole is very nicely constructed, with simple-to-use extensions (4 total) lockable into extension by yellow lever handles. These are well constructed. The dense rubber foam grips on the base is nice, useful for handling the pole at full extension.
The pole is a bit hard to control at full extension, but the length of reach is great.
The extensible rake attachment is nice. To rake (long accumulated) debris from my high, metal roof valleys (8/12), the rake must be completely retracted (narrowest width) as, otherwise, the individual rake tongs are too flexible to bear down and pull out debris. This isn't a deal-breaker, and might actually be useful in other applications. The lock toggle on the rake doesn't seem to be rugged, I expect it will break in use.
Also, it stands off of the rake's central shaft and, thus, can be accidentally actuated during use. Please redesign this locking mechanism.
The angle accessory sits in line with the pole end and attachments. When the rake is completely screwed on to the angle accessory, and it is screwed completely onto the pole, the rake's orthogonal plane (orthogonal to rake tongs and rake central shaft) isn't properly oriented using the direction of the angle--- in other words the rake can be angled downwards from the pole using the accessory, but the rake will be skewed relative to this angle. I was essentially forced to not use this accessory. It would be nice to be able to use it for roof-cleaning purposes.
Finally, the rake has a threaded hole drilled and a screw provided to clamp down on the pole (or angle accessory) threads. The screw provided was too small, and won't lock down on the inner threaded piece (which would have addressed problem above).
So most of my problems involved the rake attachment and angle accessory. The pole itself is great, well-engineered.

I have a 100 year old Redwood tree next to my house and it will drop small limbs onto the roof. I use to have to get on the roof to get them but not anymore! Works great! Easy to use, reach and the weight and grip makes it happen! Recommend this.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not Sturdy, Cannot Recommend unless you want a disposable rake or have a lot of duct tape!
Reviewed in the United States on January 24, 2024
This rake as advertised was going to be the best tool in my garage. It would keep me off the roof to take the leaves out of the valleys of my roof. It never worked great as it is designed with the rake adjustment handle pointing down where it scrapes the roof as you pull down. None the less, it was still better than getting on the roof. I used it 3 times and was thrilled with it. The fourth time (4 times!), the rivets popped from the rake alignment bar that is used to adjust the width of your tines. Keep in mind that you have to lift it slightly when it is on a 12 foot pole to get it off the roof. The rivets popped upon a 6 or 8 inch drop from lifting it up the valley. The photos show it back in its natural state, when I pulled it off the roof, the tines were everywhere making it unusable. I can't fault the warranty department for not covering it as it was out of warranty. But come on! 4 Times! That is one expensive disposable rake. I suppose I'll duct tape it into position and continue to use it, but I cannot recommend it, especially for the cost.
