This of course is the perfect shovel for your car, and the metal is extremely sturdy.
I got it though for my patio stairs because it's such a pain to try to shovel narrow stairs with a regular sized shovel. This does it nicely. It's also good if you have skinny sidewalks or spaces in your sidewalk that are awkward to get with a regular sized shovel. The handle can be extended but it's not going to let you stand up and shovel like you would with a regular sized shovel. It's not meant for big shoveling jobs, but is perfect for the small awkward spaces you need to scoop out, or to keep in your trunk for emergencies. The quality is over the top, it's heavy for it's size and very strong metal.
