5.0 out of 5 stars Works great on our small property and very easy to store

Writing this review after the first week of snow in Colorado. The snowblower cleared 8” of wet snow cleanly off of the driveway. It doesn’t throw the snow too far (unless the chute is aimed straight ahead and upward) but that is an advantage for me because I don’t want to throw snow into my neighbors driveways.

The Snowblower has performed well so far to clear snow off of our short driveway, patio, and front walkway. The battery life has been excellent and it’s light enough to carry and store easily.

The parts are plastic so treat it kindly and only blow snow (avoid trying to use it to grind large ice chunks or hitting rocks on a gravel drive) If you need a Heavy duty snowblower this may not be the right choice for you, but it does work well as a lightweight snow removal tool that saves a lot of strain on the back.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for an Electric Shovel
Reviewed in the United States on December 14, 2022
This is great for what it is. It's a small, inexpensive, easily maneuverable tool that's maybe a step up from an electric snow shovel.

As I get a little older, I'm unwilling to strain my back the way I used to, but I haven't been sure about investing so much in a gas snow blower yet. This was a great option to try out the process of one without breaking the bank.

It's easy to put together and worked as soon as I started it up. I like how light-ish weight it is so I can pick it up and get it around our small garage (not much storage space). The shovel-type lip on the bottom helps get down to the pavement. It helps me clear my 4-car driveway in about 45 minutes.

But not all of the snow is shot at a distance. Maybe half of it ends up about 10 feet from you which isn't great if you plan to shovel that section too. It doesn't take packed and heavy snow too well. When you get to the packed parts, it kind of bogs down the machinery. It also can't shoot above bushes if you're right next to them. These were things I could get over for a season while I work out whether I want to invest in heavy duty machinery. I may do that and get a smaller electric snow shovel to get in between the outdoor furniture on the back deck. This is a little too big to get in between all the chairs and the pergola easily.

4.0 out of 5 stars No Sore Back

Overall I really like the electric snow shovel. My initial test was on four to five inches of snow. My driveway is long and relatively steep. It probably took about thirty to forty-five minutes to finish the job.

Assembly was an easy three step process and you only need an adjustable wrench (socket wrench would work, too) the rest of the connections are with wing nuts that tighten by hand -- total time fifteen minutes. Only problem I had with the instructions related to the middle handle because the text did not explain that the hole in the cross bar needs to be on the same side as the directional lever. It would be easy to put it on the wrong way and discover the error in the next step, wasting time and effort.

Other than a problem the extension cord loop disengaging from the plug on the shovel, operation was generally good. The unit does seem to be somewhat out of balance causing the user to lean forward while pushing it. This action can make any small bump stop the shovel from moving, and pushing harder does no good. But, compensating for this design flaw after a bit of use became automatic.

I found the discharge directional control lever could be turned all the way to the right or left to direct the snow ejection. Noise wasn’t too obnoxious but I wouldn’t use it before the neighbors are awake, but I didn’t feel the need for hearing protection. Power remained consistent throughout the driveway clearance. But, if you push too fast the shovel slows down and the snow isn’t thrown as far. Probably the right speed is about half a normal walking pace.

Results are I cleared the driveway without hurting my back (a big plus) in better time than if I’d used a manual shovel. The product is all plastic but still seems to be well constructed, but only time will tell. I will post an update if after further use I encounter any problems, but for now I am very pleased with the performance.
