I needed to have a generator to take to craft shows to have lights and small fan. The solar panel is easy to setup.

5.0 out of 5 stars Super portable, and easy to use. Great for charging basic gadgets and electronics.

I'm blown away by the size of the unit. I was looking for something that I could toss in my car for emergencies and long road trips, and this fits the bill nicely. It's surprisingly small and lightweight, and the included solar panels are nicely crafted and super easy to set up and use.

The key thing is that with the convenience of size, weight, and frankly meager battery capacity of 30000mah; there comes with it an obvious limit to the usability and how powerful of a draw you can get out of a unit like this which isn't a whole lot. Unlike larger, heavier units that you can get at roughly the same price point if you don't have a need for the included solar panels; you'll need to limit yourself down to charging basic electronics like phones, tablets, lights and moderately powered laptops that don't require a tremendously high power draw during use in order to avoid damaging the unit with prolonged or inappropriate use. For my usage needs, this isn't a problem at all as I only need it to charge electronics we take with us on trips that have a power draw of 70 watts or less which gives us enough power to keep our phones and tablets charged up, or to extend the run time of my laptop for several hours while during use which draws 65 watts.

I haven't had a chance to fully test the solar panels out yet, but I do love how nicely it stacks and how quick and easy it is to set up. From my short time testing it for half an hour in direct sunlight, it doesn't appear to charge the battery that quickly or efficiently despite having a smaller battery, but it does work and I think it's a nice price to have it included as part of the bundle for true emergencies where you really lack an A/C power source.

So whether this bundle makes sense ultimately depends on your use cases and needs. For my family, this is perfect, and I'm very happy with both the size and all that's included in this package.

3.0 out of 5 stars 3.5, really. Decent power bank *see update*

Solar generator? No.
Power bank, that can charge up a few small things, yes.
Tiny little thing!
I received this little tiny power bank, and it came well protected to prevent any damage to the items. It also came fully charged.
I plugged in a battery for my small weed whacker, and also one for my mini chain saw.
Neither were dead—used, but needed to be topped up. I did both at the same time, and it did top them up to full. This used 2 of the four bars.
I also fully charged my phone from 59% to 100%, and then my iPad from 30% to around 85% before the power bank was depleted.
I would call the charging capacity “fair”. My guess from this experiment, is that it would charge a phone, from 10% to full charge two and a half times,, and perhaps an iPad, from 10% to 100% 1.5 times.
A useful item, mainly for the 110 plug ins.
My smaller purse-sized powerbank, can charge my phone numerous times, so, this isn’t better…. Except that it has a larger 30 watt solar panel.
It has three sections all attached and foldable for storage.
The panel feels very good quality, and yes, it will charge this power bank.
Once the power bank was depleted, I took it outside to a sunny spot, at 1:30 pm.
In one hour, it charged up to two bars. The sun did keep moving away, so I kept moving the panels, to keep them in the sunlight, but it was, at times, in the shade.
I finally brought it in at 6:30pm, and it was at 3 bars.
I plugged it into an outlet for the remaining charge-up, which took about 20-25 min.
So… the panel WILL charge it, on a sunny day, probably, if consistently in the full sun, in about 5.5 hours.
That is worth something, to me, for sure.
My small power bank that is supposed to be solar chargeable, has a tiny solar panel, and often takes all day to barely get it up to 1/4 power.
So this would actually be a viable power source, if there is no electricity available.
Comes with a round, auxiliary power plug for charging, attached to the solar panel, and a separate 12 volt (cigarette lighter) car charger, as well as a wall outlet charger.
My three star (3.5) review is based on the fact that according to its stated mah rating, it should charge more times than it does.
But, all in all, useful.
But for the price, you may find better.
*update*
Fully charged, this powerbank today, and it charged my phone, from 30% to 100%, and it is currently still charging my iPad, from 21% to now it is currently at 88%. The power bank is down to 1 bar now, and I don’t imagine it will get my iPad to 100%.
I will keep the 3 star rating, only due to the solar panel, and the ability to actually charge the power bank from it. But, expect maybe 2 charges from this item.
A bit disappointing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Super compact solar generator
Reviewed in the United States on June 25, 2024
This solar generator is tiny. It sits easily in the palm of my hand and it is super lightweight. For camping or backpacking this generator is awesome! Even with the solar panel, which itself is compact and light, this would easily fit into a back pack and would not be burdensome. I was shocked to see how compact it is. Yet it provides lots of power.

I ordered the generator to help out in the event of a power outage. Living in Florida, hurricanes are an ever present threat (at least for 6 months of the year) and having suffered through extended power outages in the past I want to be prepared for the next one. I have a gas powered generator that will power my house, but the thing burns fuel like crazy and makes an awful racket. This MARBERO generator will give me a break from the noise, reduce my fuel needs, and allow me to run a fan, a light, and charge my iPad and phone. Also the big generator is a pain in the behind to get out and hook up, so I will use this small generator for the more common two or three hour power outages from run of the mill thunderstorms.

I am also finding a lot of uses for this generator even when the power is working. I have two sheds that do not have electricity. I can run extension cords from the house to power up a radio or fan while I’m working out there, but it is so much easier to just grab this generator and plug in. Also when I’m out in the pasture where extension cords will not reach I can use this generator.
