    Had this for 2 weeks now and working great. I use a UVB and a basking light for my turtle. I didn’t think I would need a stand but I ended up ordering one a few days after I got this lamp, works much better than sitting on top of the screen.

    I needed this to save space on my tank and it is great! I have no issues with it and have been able ti hook it up to a dimming thermostat. (Only one side though since it has 2 separate cables) only that has been a bit of a puzzle for me on how to handle. But that's my own thing. Good product!

    Heavy duty dual lamp shade. It definitely emits a lot of light and good heat although I mainly want for light. Has two separate light switches so you can turn them on individually.

    The light fixture itself is nice. The bulbs fit without poking out of the bottom so you can set them directly on a screen top.
    Make sure it's not a plastic screen! The issue I had was that I purchased a ceramic heat lamp and when I added it to the fixture, it melted the base of my expensive UBV bulb. So if you se a heater get 2 separate light fixtures instead of a single fixture with dual sockets.

    I like the 2-light setup where I use black lights to illuminate my Desert Hairy scorpion (all species of scorpions glow under black light). it's light weight and rests well on the cage's screen mesh. I wish it was a bit more shallow to use smaller bulbs perhaps like LED's and small heat lamps, but it's rated to use a full size bulb which is fine.
