I recently got the Amazon Basics Standard Dog Poop Bags with Dispenser and Leash Clip, and they've been a total game-changer for our daily walks with our dog. Here’s why I think they’re awesome:

Super Durable

First off, these bags are tough! They’re nice and thick, so you don’t have to worry about any accidental tears or leaks. This is a huge plus because nobody wants a mess when cleaning up after their pup. They’re unscented, which I actually prefer because there’s no overpowering smell.

Easy-to-Use Dispenser

The dispenser that comes with the bags is really handy. It clips right onto the leash, so you always have bags ready to go. Pulling out one bag at a time is a breeze, and the clip is sturdy enough that I don’t worry about it falling off during our walks.

Great Value

This pack comes with 900 bags, which is a fantastic deal. It means I won’t have to buy more for a long time, and it’s really cost-effective. I love that I can stock up and not think about it for months.

Eco-Friendly Tip

While these bags aren’t specifically eco-friendly, their sturdiness means you only need one bag per clean-up. A few reviewers suggested using a compostable outer bag for disposal, which I think is a great idea if you’re looking to be more environmentally conscious.

Consistently Good Reviews

I read a lot of positive reviews before buying, and now I see why. Other dog owners love these bags, and so do I. They’ve become my go-to for daily walks and trips to the park.

Highly Recommend

All in all, the Amazon Basics Dog Poop Bags with Dispenser and Leash Clip are a fantastic buy. They’re durable, easy to use, and a great value. If you’re looking for reliable poop bags, I’d definitely recommend giving these a try. You won’t be disappointed!

Use case: 2x daily; used in waist pouch dispenser, wall dispenser, and directly from roll
Use length at time of review: ~1 year
Doggo: 36lb KVD; Medium poops
Issues: 2 extremely minor details that didn't affect the rating (see below)

Full review: These bags are very reliable, which is my #1 concern after having used other bags. I've been using them for a year and have never had a bad bag (so no broken seams, holes, etc. while in the middle of a walk). This was common enough in other brands I tried and very frustrating, so I greatly appreciate not having to worry about that with these.

They're thick enough to do the job comfortably without being so thick that it feels like an overuse of plastic. You get a great amount of bags for the price.

2 very minor issues I had:
- A couple of rolls in the box were more like a gray color than black, which may have been because they were actually slightly thinner than the usual roll. It felt like it when I was inspecting them to see what was up, but I still felt they were thick enough to protect my hand and hold the poo without breaking so it was never a real issue for me.
- My hands are pretty dry in the winter and I can't use lotion, so it was sometimes tough to open the bag. Since it rains here, a quick tap of my finger on any wet surface (or a quick swipe on my tongue if I was sure my hands were clean) made it easy to open. This is just the nature of the plastic so I can't fault the bags... just FYI if you have dry hands.

I was gifted a different set of bags in a care package for my doggo and may stick with those instead depending on how the price changes after I'm done with the box. The gifted bags are biodegradable and have a "notification" sticker when you're down to three bags left, which I'd brushed off as a fluff feature at first but has turned out to be super darn useful actually. (I also don't have the dry hands problem with those bags because of the material.) So... once I'm out of bags and need to buy again, it'll probably just come down to whether those features are worth the price upgrade or not. If not, I'll come back to these for sure. They're great bags, especially for the price.

When it comes to responsible pet ownership, having dependable dog poop bags is a must. Recently, I purchased a pack of Amazon Dog Poop Bags, and they've proven to be an essential addition to our daily walks and outings.

Firstly, these bags are incredibly convenient. They come in rolls that fit neatly into any standard leash dispenser, making them easy to carry and access when needed. The perforated edges tear cleanly, ensuring a hassle-free experience during cleanup without fumbling or struggling to separate bags.

Durability is another notable feature. Despite their lightweight feel, these bags are surprisingly sturdy. They hold up well against even larger messes without fear of tearing or leaking, providing confidence during disposal. The thickness of the material is sufficient to contain odors effectively, which is a relief when handling unpleasant tasks.

In terms of size, these bags are generously proportioned. They comfortably accommodate waste from dogs of all sizes, from small breeds to larger ones, without feeling cramped or strained.

Overall, Amazon Dog Poop Bags have become a reliable companion on our walks. They combine convenience, durability, and environmental responsibility into one essential product. If you're looking for an affordable and effective solution for cleaning up after your furry friend, I highly recommend giving these bags a try. They're a small investment that makes a big difference in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene wherever your adventures with your dog lead you.

They do exactly what they’re supposed to - no weird smells, just solid, unscented bags that fit perfectly in the dog poop bag holder I 3D printed from Thingiverse. The bags are standard size, the roll in the middle is plastic instead of cardboard. I’m already brainstorming what to make from the empty rolls; maybe a dome? Overall, these are reliable, no-nonsense bags that get the job done.
