This is an amazing basking light. Our bearded dragon loves it. Just be careful not to lean it on plastic, it melted the plastic lip on our tank slightly. We moved it away since but it keeps the beardie's tank nice and toasty on the basking side.
We made her a pillow to bask on top of until we find or make something better. This light Plus that pillow makes for one super happy dragon. Will buy this light again in the future.

Been using this brand of bulb for heads. I love the quality. And they’re good bang for your buck! They fit well inside of the domes. I love that the temperature is adjustable with dimmers. It’s always had good performance compared to other brands. They have lasted a while.

This 100w daytime heat bulb is just the right strength for our beardie in a 36x18 enclosure. He gets great heat which allows him to regulate for himself while he is basking. They last for a long period of time (at 6 months @ 12 hrs a day) These bulbs have just the right heat range so that he can stay in the heat or go to a cooler part of his enclosure. Since using these bulbs, hee digests his food better which allows him to absorb more nutrients.

I dont buy these bulbs cause theyre long lasting, cause anyone who realky cares for reptiles knows fluker's bulbs arent the highest quality you can get. But, considering how many you can buy in bulk for the price theyre at, bang for buck, theyre a good deal.

My suggestion is to buy several when you do. They wont last long but they do put out enough heat and uv to be worth the money if you buy them in packs of 3 or 6.

This is a steal! Keeps lighted side of tank at 90 degrees F, along with a 10.0 UVB bulb. 40 gallon tank, the substrate/thermometer is about 10-12 inches away from light, average room temperate is 67-70 degrees. I will update on longevity when the bulb goes out. I have been buying lights for $13+ a bulb at a local reptile store which offers a two month warranty. This has lasted 2 weeks so far and saves me a twenty five minute trip and allowed me to use the spare money I'd normally spend on a basking bulb to purchase a UVB light which is not necessary for my particular reptile but is a great little amenity to offer him.

I don't often write reviews yet I've purchased these Flukers basking bulbs, 100 watts, 6 times in 18 months and usually buy 2 at a time. They burn out every 203 months. I leave them on 8 hours a day and when I purchase another brand, I realize that I get 6-8 months out of each of the bulbs. Not a great bang for the buck.

I will say their customer service has replaced bulbs that have broken with shipment. So that's a plus.
