My box turtle, Fred, is a picky eater. He has turned up his beak at every purchased turtle food I have ever bought for him. So for the 20 years I've taken care of him I have had to cook yam & peas, and hunt slugs and earthworms and cut them into bite sized pieces for him.
I started by mixing this Omnivore diet with his peas and yam bites, and he cleaned up every bite. Now I'm feeding this as his primary food, and he gets very excited (it is subtle in a turtle) and rushes (slowly) to his food bowl every meal.
He and I are very happy with this food (even if I think it looks and smells gross, but then I am not a turtle). We both thank you.
