    I have a 10 month old orange kitten that is hyperactive & curious. He has destroyed and broken several things by jumping, climbing and running crazily through the house so wanted a toy that would hopefully tire him out a little. This is perfect! He has played with it from the beginning. Have had it a week and he still loves it. At first I kept it on green mode but the battery only lasted a few hours, so I put it in yellow mode. That helped a lot. It is only active while my cat plays with it then it goes to sleep mode, waking up periodically by chirping & spinning to get his attention. It works most of the time. I think he gets tired now & sleeps during this wake up call. He runs & jumps on it sliding across the floor. He pounces on it, bites it and sometimes he just watches it move around. At least he is being entertained. I like that the ball can also be used by itself & run around the house. I don’t use the ball by itself because my cat will take it to places where I can’t find it so it stays inside the mat. The mat is durable because he paws and tries biting it but still looks great. It is very lightweight and so he does move it around the room when he pounces on it. After playing with it awhile, I usually have to get it away from the wall and spread it out again. But I don’t mind doing that. At first I was worried if the chirping noise would be too loud or irritating but it isn’t. It is fine and really just loud enough to get his attention. In the yellow mode the battery lasts awhile. I have only let it go without charging for 2 days but it still had life when I took it out to charge so it would go longer. I want him to enjoy it as much as he wants during the day so it is charged at night. The first day I had this he played with it so much he was exhausted at the end of the day. This is a great toy to have for your cat. My 7 yr old cat has even started playing with it. It takes him awhile to warm up to things but I guess he sees the kitten enjoying it so decided to play too. I highly recommend this toy.

    We are so happy with the Fast Rolling Ball in Play Mat! This was a Christmas gift for our two cats, and it’s been a huge hit ever since.

    What I love most about this toy is its versatility. There are multiple ways to use it, whether it’s letting the cats chase the ball with attached feathers or watching them interact with the ball as it zooms around inside the play mat. The best part? My cats can keep playing and stay engaged even when I’m busy or not at home.

    Durability and Quality:
    The play mat is made of woven nylon and stitched together very well. Despite all the pouncing, clawing, and excitement, it still looks brand new. The ball is durable too, though when used outside of the play mat, it can pick up dust, and hair did get wound around the axis. Thankfully, it was easy to clean and still looks great.

    Setup:
    Setting up this toy was incredibly quick and easy—no issues at all.

    Features and Engagement:
    The ball makes soft chirping sounds that are subtle and not annoying; I didn’t even notice them at first since we were talking and laughing while the cats were playing. The ball moves in random directions or sometimes just shakes, which creates variety and keeps my cats intrigued. I especially love that the ball is rechargeable—no batteries to deal with! It comes with a USB-C cord, charges quickly, and lasts a long time.

    Very happy with this item! The scurrying ball is brilliant. It runs around and pivots when it gets in a tight spot, ultimately finding a way out. When I first let it loose it quickly ran under an old fashioned radiator, I and figured it would be stuck there. But it had freed itself before I walked across the room to get it. The ball also stops, shakes, and makes a "pew-pew" sound every now and then - that gets the cat's attention. In the play mat it basically just bounces around, stopping to shake and make noise every once in a while. Whether in the mat or running free, the ball goes to sleep for a while if the cat leaves it alone, but wakes up periodically to try to get the cat's attention. Battery life is great - it runs for more than a day on a single charge. (It does take a couple hours to charge on a 24W USB C phone charger.)

    Not everything is perfect - the play mat often winds up in a bunch in a corner of the room. Our cat plays with it now and then in the mat, but mostly just sits and watches it run around, whether its in the mat or running free. But it keeps her busy and entertained!

    I just received this yesterday and thought it was going to be such a great tool for integrating my new kitten with my older cat. He loves to pounce on her and drive her nuts, but when I introduced this toy they both became fascinated with pouncing on it instead of fighting with each other. Perfect! The problem is, it only intermittently works. We used it all afternoon yesterday, I charged it overnight, and now when I turn it on it only operates for a few minutes at a time and they quickly lose interest. Sometimes it turns off completely and does nothing. Other times it just sits in one place and incessantly makes a sound like it's coughing up a hairball. (That's one of its usual noises but I don't think it's supposed to just sit there doing it over and over.)

    My cats are very interested in playing with this, it just seems very glitchy.
