I recently switched to these heat lamp bulbs for my reptiles, and I’m thrilled with their performance! So far, they’ve worked exceptionally well, providing consistent heat that’s crucial for their well-being.
I’ve used these bulbs in both smaller and larger dome lamps, and I haven’t encountered any issues. My leopard gecko, which basks about 12 inches from the metal screen top, enjoys a cozy basking area around 87°F, just as it should be. Meanwhile, my snakes bask about 20 inches from the screen top, and their area stays comfortably in the mid to upper 70s, so I do need something stronger in there.
