BUT: bag of birdseed was ripped open in the middle so lots of seed was spread in the shipping box which was not damaged and was completely sealed.

The birds like the variety of seeds, but the abundance of sunflower seeds made a huge mess on that patio after the birds finished their meal. Made for a lot of clean up after the empty shells were all over the place.

The bird are flocking to my feeders and there is very little waste. It must be good for neighborhood cats are eating it too.

I live in an apartment with a covered patio. I have a tray bird feeder situated near the edge of the patio, and I never had birds come to it. I assumed it was because of the patio. It sat unused for nearly a year with the generic birdseed I had. On a whim, I decided to try this and see if I could revive interest. I’m not kidding, but I have lines of birds sitting waiting to eat this seed. If you live in the southern U.S., get this seed. I’m amazed.
