Directions

Fill a clean, empty litter box with 3-4 inches of litter. Litter seals in and destroys odors, forming rock-solid clumps. Remove clumps and solid waste daily to keep the rest of the litter fresh. Add more litter to replace what you have scooped out and maintain a depth of 3-4 inches. Once a month, empty the entire litter box. Dispose of used litter in trash. Do not flush or put in drains.

Best litter; easier on cats paws than typical litter

We were wary of changing the cats’ litter, but wanted to cut down on the clouds of dust that settle every time after the box was used. This litter is finer , less angular so the cats paws aren't so roughed up by scratching in the litter. The best part: odors are cut down about 90% or more! No pervasive ammonia smell, less smell when they poop. Clumping is great: with typical litter things have to dry in order to have a clump that you can remove easily. That happens with the A&H litter every time so the box is cleaner after sifting and removal of clumps. The fragrance is a bit noticeable yet fades after a few days. So - easier to maintain the boxes, far less odor, no clouds or residual dust, kinder on the kitties’ paws. A huge improvement!

This litter is really awesome, the scent is not overpowering although I am not a fan. The most important thing is the kitten had no problem using it. It lives up to the name cloud control as there's no dust whatsover at each refill. Tracking is still an issue but it's really not a lot. When bought on sale this is quite a good value as one box can last my kitten about 2-3 months.

I bought this product only because it was on sale at the time and decided to give it a try like many other litter brands before. I usually buy PURINA TIDY CATS LIGHTWEIGHT unscented but when i tried this…. Wow! I was surprised with the performance and how clean it is to scoop with this product. No smells,No dust at all, it looks like beach sand and has the appearance and feeling of wet sand but is not wet and has a very slight scent. Great clumping too. And less litter tracking than usual. I only dislike that it is heavier than the lightweight that i usually get, but not a dealbreaker and the amount of this size box (17 lbs) is only good to fill my sandbox one time instead of two refills with the other brand I was using. I only have one cat and this is plenty for him and how often he uses it,but he seems to like it too. I will totally recommended this product.

Completely dust free

Pros: This litter has the texture of a sandbox. No problem with the cat using it. It is truly dust free. I can tell the difference in my Maine Coon's coat and in the filter of the air purifier I have running adjacent to the area of the litter box. It doesn't have a heavy perfumed smell so neither does my cat's fur. It doesn't track out of the litter box near as much as other litters.

Cons: I am not impressed with the clumping. The clumps break apart easily so it is necessary to use the scoop to filter the litter in the box thoroughly. I am also not impressed with the odor control hence the air filter.

For me, the pros outweigh the cons. I will not go back to the dust clouds, the dust residue on my cat's coat and tracked litter again. I am just more diligent about scooping the Iitter 2 or 3 times a day. Small price to pay for my cat not investing litter dust when he washes himself.

After trying 3 other litters for my new cat, this had no dust, very little tracking, and the scent is light and does not affect my sensitive asthma/allergies. By far the best -- better than Dr. Elsey's by a long shot (don't know why that is recommended anywhere). It's better than other Arm and Hammer litters for even less dust and tracking. Worth the slight premium.

We had a Litter Robot for about 5 years, so a litter box was a thing of the past until recently. I have purchased several different litters because I realized how much dust some can really give off. The Litter Robot was enclosed, so you did not notice the dust given off by the litter as it was kept inside. Some were also extremely hard to get off of the bottom of the box. Some also give off a very foul scent when they are wet with urine or a bowel movement. The scent can be worse then the smell.
This litter is the tops in all 3 areas, no dust, easy to scoop from box, no nasty scent. The Best Litter.
This litter on the other hand is definitely the best as far as dust and removal from the cat box. There is absolutely no dust when this letter is scooped.
I have 2 cats and have a habit of cleaning the box too often, but with this product, there is no dust at all, it's easy to scoop and no nasty scent.

Wow, for us worth the cost!

No dust, excellent odor control. We use a top opening litter box, helps a lot with reducing tracking, and this really small sand-like litter tracks even less than anything we used before. We do have mats near the box to catch most, used to need to vacuum every two days, scatter was wider (she has her claws), now can go 4-5 days! She took to using it right away. Only negative (almost worth deducting a star) is that pee clumps are not as hard as we like unless we let them dry out more before removing, but we have had that problem with other premium litters, too. We keep it between 2-3 inches deep. Now for our one senior cat, cleaning out the box twice a week is just fine. Nice.

I did not like the LIGHT scent on this litter - it was awful. I'd much rather have no scent at all. It smelled like a perfumy LITTERBOX all the time - like I was trying to mask a stink.
It was very absorbent and had low dust.
Still trying to find a litter that is unscented, low dust and doesn't get caught in my cat's paws.....
