I recently bought the Seresto cat collar, and I'm thrilled with its performance! It significantly reduced fleas and ticks while being lightweight and comfortable for my cat.

My cats have been flea free for 5 months now, and still going. Yes, I see a flea every now and then, they are still prevalent in my neighborhood. Initially we had an extreme infestation, and the other less expensive flea collars and shampoos had not visible effect. My cats have serious reactions to flea drops so those weren't an option either. Within a day of putting these collars on I was find dead/dying fleas everywhere my cats liked to lay. After a few weeks there were still a few fleas but they were still disappearing. after about 2 months I was seeing now fleas, and I've only seen maybe 4 fleas since then. I am currently pet sitting someone's dog and he is starting to show signs of fleas despite other treatments he's had, so I know the buggers are still around. My cats are still flea free thankfully and I will definitely be purchasing replacement collars in a couple months as these collars reportedly work for up to 8 months. I am very pleased. I do wish the collars weren't quite so expensive, as one of my cats hates collars and I was afraid of him losing it in the neighborhood like he's lost all his other collars. He's still got it on though, so it was money well spent. In the long term, these collars are more effective and cost less than trying all the other products that failed to work. I wish I'd gone with this collar first and saved my money.

We used this same product when we first got our cats from the rescue and it worked amazingly! It rid them of all fleas by 2 days make after checking with a flea comb each day. Now we get them to just upkeep and ensure no fleas and they are still very effective after 8 months.

We had problems with the liquid flea medication and it causing our cats to lose some fur which the collar produced no issues. Also we've tried the pills but again we have a semi feral cat who wouldn't take it unless it was a treat.

10/10 would recommend

Bought my 1st pair 7 months ago (last for 8 months) on my 2 kittens, worked like a dream!!
Now bought my next pair, and sadly one of my cats' (Turkish Van) fur has grown, he is now considered long hair - the collar is almost impossible to actually "touch his skin" so it just simply does not work. We have to look for an alternative method. Still works great on my short hair cat though.

I have one cat that is indoor and outdoor. I also have 3 other cats and two Dogs. For some unknown reason this year, after 13 years, she became INFESTED with fleas even though she’s always had revolution on her!!! It’s was hell. The entire house became infested.
Nightmare.
I tried everything on her: Capstar, a flea bath, flea combing hours a day, diatomaceous earth, Wondercide (which does zero!), and battled To keep them in check as they were now in the house too. In total desperation and keeping Her inside quarantined (poor gal) I turned to the Saresto collar. I was terrified after reading the reviews.
But I followed the instructions and she has been flea free and doing Well. I had to treat the entire home with Flea Busters. Endless vacuuming and laundry and dog Baths and flea Combing everyone twice a day. It took a month.
No idea why this year was this bad. I’ve never experienced this - the dogs were on Nexguard and they Also battled.
But this one poor cat was over run more than anyone else, bizarrely.
I also treated the yard and she Is once again going outside and back inside with her S collar on, and is Still flea free.
No side effects and no Burns on her neck.
Def follow instructions and don't Make it too tight and watch Your cat closely.
I would not put this in a cat this isn’t used to wearing a collar!
Only put this on a cat that won’t fight it.

Sorresto are the absolute BEST flea collars that are on the market. I have Five fur-babies, and when each of them came in with fleas, I decided to spend a little more on flea protection. The fleas were gone in a max of 1 week and their thinning hair from their constant grooming disappeared. The design is safe, it’s not messy like drops, they tolerate the fillers well and the collars lock into place will not fall off of them or tighten/ loosen and it lasts for eight months. Yes, it’s a bit on the pricey side, but this is truly one of the products that goes by the rule of “you get what you pay for”. These are absolutely worth it and I recommend this to everyone looking for a good flea collar.
