    Got this calcium powder to dust worms and crickets in for my day geckos. I mix a little scoop worth in a disposable cup with a sprinkle of Repashy vitamin powder. Good price and seems to do the job!

    I needed a refill after I used my other one up after several years. It doesn't come with the lid shown in the picture though, its just a standard screw on lid.

    There are many ways to administer calcium to your reptile (in our case, a pet desert tortoise) but the fine powder of this option is by far the easiest. We've done cuttle fish "bone" which is an oval shaped chunk that you can fairly easily break apart with your hands but you need to break it up to ensure it gets consumed. With the jar/powder - no need to bother - just spoon a 1/4 teaspoon on the food a couple of times a week and you're done!

    Bought for a finicky pacman frog whose protested against other calcium powders. This one was a hit, evidently it must not taste too bad to him. It clings really well to his food (typically fish). He's a happy healthy little dude steadily growing. I also use it for my isopods and dubia roaches, both of which have loved it.

    The powder itself is very fine with no clumps in the jar. It does clump up on wet items, but it'll coat insects evenly. I'm very pleased everytime I use it.
