We love our Huskies, Nova & Ranger, but hate their hair! After years of being frustrated with their hair consuming our lives, we finally decided to take matters into our own hands to build pet hair cleaning products that actually work!
Most pet brushes come with bristles. Bristles are soft and with even just a minute amount of pressure will bend. This results in them being unable to pull out any embedded hair from the fabrics because they simply bend over the hair. The Uproot Cleaners come with a metal edge with special grooving, engineered specifically to trap even the most embedded hair without damaging the fabric.

INCREDIBLE - a game changer!

We have two VERY fluffy gray cats, and they shed like it’s their job. They love to lounge on our fancy heirloom oriental rug, and it’s so hard to get all the fur off. We vacuumed it two days ago, and it still looked clean from the surface today when this tool came in the mail. I gave it a go anyway, and look what came up just from like one corner of the rug! It’s gets all the hidden fur out, as well as the fur on the surface. You don’t have to clean the brush- the fur comes right off of it. It was so quick and easy, you don’t even need to go over the same area twice, it’s so effective. It pulled up a little bit of red from our carpet, but barely any- and it wasn’t pulling or getting caught on the rug at all, so overall I’d say safe to use on oriental rugs! It even pulled up a bunch of tiny litter crystals that were embedded in the rug - so I might start doing this before vacuuming so I can then just vacuum up the crystals. This is maybe the most satisfying purchase I’ve ever made- definitely worth the money.

I caved. I bought the device that I keep seeing everywhere on social media. Was it worth it? YES IT WAS! This little metal thingy has gotten so much gunk out of my carpet, it is equally satisfying and disgusting ???? It’s really addicting too! I had starting with a test spot on the carpet and I then spent the next 30 min going over entire bedroom and the stairs. IT WORKS SO WELL. So easy, fast, and a kind of therapy for those type A personalities that need everything clean (dat me). Debating if you should get it? Just do it. Add to cart. Complete purchase. You’re welcome.

Expensive but worth it

I can only describe this pet hair remover as working like magic! I have two Long-haired cats and my fur babies shed constantly. They tolerate brushing sometimes when they are in the mood (you cat people know how cats are), and my oriental carpet is a pet hair magnet. I have tried everything and spent a bunch of money trying to find something that really works getting the fur up without breaking my back. Vacuuming does not work entirely. I even bought a vacuum that is the same price as a used car (about $2000)!! It doesn't work because the fur is embedded in the carpets. (by the way, I took the vacuum back).
This hair/fur remover is amazing! The little "teeth" or ridges on both edges of the rake are small but powerful and they are not sharp so you don't have to worry about cutting yourself or the carpet. I don't have to put much force or pressure to pull the remover back across the carpet to get the hair loose. It also leaves the fur/hair on the carpet so I can pick it up off the carpet. I don't have to fight to pull it off the remover , and there is no compartment that I have to dump all the time. I just simply pick the fur up off the carpet. The only negative is it let's me see just how much hair my little fur babies shed on the carpet. Unfortunately, it doesn't work on all carpets. It works fine on my oriental, but not on the berber carpet that I have. The instructions say that you can use on fabrics too, but I have never tried that.
The one I bought is really small with a short handle which is why I am taking a star away and giving it four stars. It works fantastic, but it is too small and expensive. I understand there is a larger version that has a longer handle more like a rake which is even more expensive (Amazon has it, of course). I hate to spend so much money, but it works so well that I will probably "bite the bullet" and buy the larger one despite the expense.

Amazing on Thick Carpet and Husky Fur

We only have one dog, a Siberian Husky, but the fur-mageddon is real. I wanted a better solution for stairs since vacuuming the stairs is such a pain (thick carpet, curved stairway). I decided to try this, it looked promising enough. Turns out, it is money well spent. I can run it over the stairs and get so much fur. It takes minimal effort and it is quick. I am very impressed.

This thing pulls out more fur than I even knew was there. I used it on my stairs a couple times a week to keep them looking much better. I also use it on the areas my dog lays the most because it gets so furry and mats down the carpet. Great for that when you don't feel like vacuuming but looks freshly vacuumed.

I even used it on the microfiber towel I keep in the dog's crate. Worked pretty well on that, too. Snagged it a couple of times, but nothing major and it's just the dog towel so I don't care much. Really got a lot of fur off which was great before washing it.

What's really nice about this tool is that no matter how much hair you rake out of your carpets, it just balls up and doesn't get caught up in the tool itself. There's no real cleaning that has to be done with the tool. A gentle shake and the hair falls off. You're not wasting time pulling it out of the rake.

The way this tool is designed allows you to get right up against furniture, baseboards/walls, and edges of the stairs and not miss anything. You can rake it flush against something and get clear to the edge. You don't need to press hard, it didn't get caught in my carpet and so far only pulled out a couple of very small carpet pieces (but those could've been loose to begin with).

This is seriously an awesome tool, and I highly recommend it. It'll work for any type of pet hair, long or short. Would be awesome to keep carpeted cat trees clean. But I love it most of all for the stairs.

If I had to say something negative about this product (because nothing is 100% perfect), I'd say the handle could use very minor improvement. A little thicker to make it more comfortable to hold. It feels a bit flimsy but not to the point I feel like I'm going to break it with normal use.
