5.0 out of 5 stars Eastern box turtle loves this food

My eastern box turtle that is 5 yr old loves this food. We love it too since we don’t have to prepare the food anymore. The kale doesn’t last but 6 days in the frig… the worms are not always the best quality bc of mold. So again buying this from Amazon has been so much easier

Are turtle gets picky sometimes. Thought I'd try this as an alternative to fresh food when she just wasn't eating very well. She seems to enjoy this and it's always available for her. Much easier to keep the tank clean

We have 6 box turtles of all different sizes and every one of them can find something they like in this blend. The worms are always the first to go, then fruits and veggies, and then pellets. We also provide fresh worms, fruits, and veggies as treats. We recommend this box turtle food!

3.0 out of 5 stars Our turtle is a picky eater

We're guessing the reason our box turtle didn't like it was the pellets were too big. He's only the size of a cereal bowl. And not the big ones. Maybe suitable fir a larger turtle. Mr. Tuttle is just too finicky!

5.0 out of 5 stars Turtles Love It

I have two desert box turtles and they both love this food. One of them gets excited just seeing the container, so that has to count for something. I can't comment on the flavor, but I asked Pluto and Lightning and they gave it 5 stars.

5.0 out of 5 stars a good solution for my special needs rescue
Reviewed in the United States on July 27, 2023
I have a rescue box turtle with a weak bite and mild MBD. Her appetite has vastly improved with UVB, but she struggles to eat in general. She has shown no interest in live insects or veggies/greens no matter how I present it or try to sneak it in. I can get her to eat soft fruit and the occasional protein, but I know she needs a more varied diet than that. She'll eat Fluker's Buffet Blend about 50% of the time I offer it (I soak it to make it easier for her to eat). She'll also go for Fluker's Crafted Cuisine sometimes too. I feel a lot better about her overall diet with these options in my toolbox. It doesn't have much of a smell at all when dry. I can smell it when its wet, but it's not offensive, and like I said, my turtle seems to like it. For a turtle who was only eating banana when I got her, this is a real breakthrough.

I bought several foods recommended for box turtles and they weren’t that interested until I found this food. A little goes a long way too. I put approximately 3 tablespoons in dish and add water to soften. It feeds all three turtles I have in my backyard and they show up like clockwork to eat now. I highly recommend this food and it’s a great price point too!
