    This cat litter excels at keeping unpleasant odors under control, even in multi-cat households. The clumping ability is impressive, forming solid clumps that are easy to scoop without breaking apart. The added Febreze freshness gives a subtle, clean scent that doesn’t overpower the room, and the ammonia-block technology works as promised to neutralize odors effectively.

    The litter’s low-dust formula keeps the area around the litter box cleaner, and my cats seem comfortable using it. It performs exceptionally well in every practical sense, making it a dependable choice for cat owners.

    The only downside is the price—it’s on the higher side compared to similar products. While the quality justifies the cost to some extent, those on a budget might find it harder to commit to this as a regular purchase.

    I have 3 indoor cats for the past 5 years and have tried many different litters; Fresh Step is the only litter my cats will use. It completely masks the smell
    Of any cat urine or poo- even when guests come
    over I always ask if they can smell anything from the litter box and I have never had a complaint. The litter clumps very well and it’s very easy to scoop, it makes the litter last because you’re only scooping what’s used- the remainder stays in the litter box, it’s an easy to carry box - not too heavy and doesn’t have harmful chemicals! I’ve tried other litters and I’m never satisfied unless it’s Fresh Step- happy cats & happy customer :)

    When I got my first cat, I kind of assumed all kitty litters must pretty much be the same. I quickly realized how wrong that was. Some barely mask the smell at all. But I have now used fresh step for many years and I have no intention of switching. It masks odors very well and has a nice scent. It clumps well. It is a bit dusty when you pour it in the litter box. It is super heavy, but I think most litters are.
