A very user friendly and easy to understand program that has all the bells and whistles needed to edit and print great pictures. All of the tools you need from basic editing to almost professional. Certainly my go-to for photo enhancement.

When I read the copy it was just what I was looking for to edit my photos. I lost my good program when my computer was fixed recently.
However I did not see that this was for a Mac and I run on Microsoft. $30 bucks down the drain. Of course it never downloaded
to my computer.

I was looking for something a little quicker and easier than photoshop, I was used to photoshop and arcsoft products. The clone tool on this one is time consuming. There are things about this software that take 2-3 steps to do instead of one. It is ok, but wish I had just gone ahead and got Photoshop.

I was hoping for photo software that could upscale images as well as do basic editing. PhotoPad seemed ideal because it can (supposedly) do that and so much more. I installed the software with the free trial version and expected I would likely purchase it within the hour after playing around with it. Unfortunately, every image I edited (tried it 5 times) caused the program to crash with the dreaded "not responding" message while attempting to save them. They advertise they are compatible with Windows 7, but apparently that's not always the case, even with 8GB RAM and plenty of disk space. I had to uninstall it within the hour.

Seems like it would be good for presumably newer systems. I very used to working with Photoshop so I'll have to stick with that, but will continue to keep an eye out for a similar alternate program.

I'm a professional photographer and this NCH Photo Pad is UNBELIEVABLE! It rivals LR...puts it to shame really. LR is a complex program with a very steep and prolonged learning curve. I love the ease of PhotoPad, the intuitive processing, the range, the features, etc., etc. I am so very happy to have this as a way to quickly and efficiently edit the material with a much smaller footprint in my travel computer than bulky LR. And, NCH is great...doesn't really get any better than this for the terrific price. I love it!
