I've been using Vegas Pro for over 5 years, and it has done everything I want to do with no problems. The added function of event handles from its sister series "Movie Studio" really make a difference. Its fast, powerful, and most importantly, you only have to purchase it once and it's yours for life.
Quick tip, as with all new versions of Vegas, it's a good idea to wait a bit for the updates to pass at least "300" or more, as of this writing this version of Vegas Pro is on update 428.
