My kid thought Green eggs and Ham was something moldy and awful until I bought this.

If you're going to advertise something as strictly Mac Compatible, please be sure to note that it only works in Classic! I was very disappointed and will be returning this immediately.

Highly recommend this fun and educational computer book

This computer book not only reads to your child but also has interactive games. It is both fun and educational for young children. I bought it about 2 yrs ago and my child still loves to play it.

Buggy Software-Great Content

When it works (PC version running on Win7), my kids (5 and 3) really love this. But on their laptop, it runs in a small window which can't be sized (as it is 'full-screen'), and is clearly designed for computers of long ago. If I connect it to an external monitor, it runs in true full screen (have yet to figure out why), but is just as likely to crash at any time. Bought this with Cat in the Hat which does not run at all on Win7 (at least not for us) without almost immediately crashing.

I work in computers so please trust me that I've done everything possible to get these games to run well and normally.

Very disappointed. These titles are definitely from the island of forgotten and outdated software. A real shame as the content is actually quite good. If the developers took just a quick moment to update these games/books they would still be very popular.

Bottom line, unless your computer was new during the Clinton administration you will be buying a heap of frustration and not much else.

Will not work on newer Macintoshes

Managed to get this to work on my husband's work computer. Our son absolutely LOVES. Big belly laughs. So disappointed that we cannot get to work on Macintosh running 10.5.5. Wish they would release an update, but the developer does not appear to be supporting any longer. Really too bad.

Great for entertaining and teaching!

I teach mentally handicapped adults basic skills such as how to count, how to recognize money, how to tell time, and how to recognize letters or attempt to read. This product definitely helps my students attempt to read by its entertaining graphics, entertaining story (I could hear it over and over again!), and the way the words light up as they are spoken so beginning readers can attempt to read karoke style like beginning singers try to read and sing lyrics at the same time at a karoke bar! Any of the Dr. Seuss titles like Green Eggs and Ham like this one, or Cat in the Hat would work well with both mentally handicapped adults, and I suspect, beginning readers of any age. . ..
