    Started my grand-daughter on the toddler version at 1-1/2 yrs and went on to the preschool soon after. By the time she was 3-1/2 yrs she was ready for me to teach her to read and do math. She was an excellent student and received her AA in June after two years of college. I think this system gave her a leg up and I'm passing one on to a friend with a toddler.

    I was so excited to get this for my granddaughter but unfortunately it did not work! We put it in and the screen went black. So we tried it on a different computer and got the same result. I had a very disappointed 4 year old. I'm not sure what the problem could be but I know it's not my computers. This is the only computer game we have had a problem with. I don't feel comfortable buying any other products from The Learning Company and would not recommend buying this!

    The detail description on this product says it ll work on Mac computers. I bought this because I have a mac. I have received it and it doesn't work on Mac s, only windows. Now I can't use this disc/game.

    My son loved this so much i bought another so he can play it at grandmas.

    Reader Rabbit is a long time mainstay of Preschool education. They were making educational material for children long before computers. This is a good thing to have. My wife is a Preschool Teacher and uses this software in her classroom.

    My granddaughter loves this. You can let her do the setup, so it tailors the game to suit her level. There's enough variety and challenges without being to hard.

    I put it in my computer and it dindnt , want to work the program. So sad, because my toddlers could it play and learn , like I wanted too.
    Now, I just have it here. Can't use it :.0(
