This version NOT RECOMMENDED!!! The fact that I could not even open the software once it was installed. The download version of this software must have an internet connection in order to work properly. I spent a total of 2.5 hours on the phone with a software tech from Hallmark Card Studio. Gary from Hallmark was wonderful. He tried everything under the sun to get me up and running. I am computer literate and we understood each other perfectly. Hallmark gave up as all possible scenarios were exhausted. Everything with my PC and the Hallmark Server were working properly. It was not a antivirus issue and all security software was turned off during one of the multiple installations we went through together. I would the DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND "Download" version. Get the box version with the CD. I lost nearly $40.00 on this one. No recourse as software is non-refundable. BE CAREFUL

I've been using H Card Studio for 7 or 8 years, via new versions pretty much every year (despite an estimated 50-70% overlap of each new version over the previous version). Still, I am generally pleased. There is a good selection of cards for most occasions, except one, in my opinion. I have been consistently disappointed in the very meager selection of birthday cards for men. On the other hand, the graphics are pretty good, and the customization interface is reasonably decent, albeit a little clunky. Overall, the fact that that I keep buying it kind of speaks for itself.

I was looking for new greeting card software that would be compatible with Windows 10. I had a very old version of American Greeting Software that wasn't compatible with Windows 10. I read some good reviews about the Hallmark Card Studio Deluxe, and liked the fact that I could download a version without waiting a week to receive it in the mail. I had no problems downloading the software. It only took a few minutes to download, and was easy to install. It is very simple to use. Within minutes I was able to create a beautiful anniversary card for a friend. They have a large selection of ready made cards for every occasion and even give you suggestions of phrases for cards made from scratch. I am very happy with this product.

I always bought this year after year. Now you have to be on line to get the cards you want to use. I have very poor internet where I live and this becomes a real problem. I will never buy this again. I paid my order,for what, an empty box of nothing unless I go on line.

The download went very well, however, maneuvering around was very difficult for me. I called the tech support and finally got some help. I waited on line over 10 mins, finally someone answered. The gentleman was kind but seemed in a hurry.
But, I wouldn't let him go until I got the answer. I would not buy this again. If you have a lot of time to try and figure it out, I am sure you could make it work for your project, but it sure wasn't fun to use.

Nice software easy to use, a million choices. With cards now a t $5 -$8 each will pay for it self quickly. Also saves the inconvenience of running to the store because you forgot to get a card.
