About this item

THREE EASY WAYS TO USE WILLMAKER -- YOUR CHOICE! Install the CD or Download (Windows or Mac), or Access Online. You may also purchase a download only by searching for ASIN B0CLQ6SWDD (windows) or ASIN B0CLQ8R5ZK (mac).
QUICKEN WILLMAKER & TRUST 2024 IS THE EASIEST WAY TO CREATE YOUR ESTATE PLAN -- Whether you are just getting started or you want to update previous arrangements. This powerful software guides you through the process from beginning to end, giving you practical and legal information to make the best decisions for you and your family.
WILLS ARE THE HEART OF EVERY ESTATE PLAN -- also known as a last will and testament. This legal document puts you in control of who inherits your property and who would take care of your children if it were ever necessary. Without a will, state law determines these issues. You can organize your important documents including your Will & Trust for your loved ones in Everplans, an online digital secure vault, the perfect companion to WillMaker. Available on Amazon: Search ASIN # B0C3DNGBLX.
LIVING TRUSTS HELP YOUR ESTATE AVOID PROBATE -- Like a will, a living trust distributes property to the people you name after you die. But unlike a will, property that passes through a living trust can be passed directly to your beneficiaries, without waiting for court approval -- saving your beneficiaries time and money. Quicken WillMaker & Trust includes individual living trusts, shared living trust (for couples), trust revocations, and certifications of trust.
HOME AND PERSONAL FINANCE FORMS -- Quicken WillMaker & Trust also includes dozens of simple forms for you and your family to use when need them. For example, you can make a Childcare Agreement, Authorization to Drive a Motor Vehicle, Housesitting Instructions, General Bill of Sale, and several others.
TRANSFER ON DEATH DEEDS -- Use the Quicken WillMaker & Trust transfer on death deeds to transfer your home to your beneficiaries when you die, without probate. Before your death, you still own the property, and you can revoke the deed (or make a new one) at any time. Like living trusts, transfer on death deeds keep the property out of probate. Like wills, they are simple to make, revise, and revoke.
HEALTH CARE DIRECTIVES -- Health Care Directives allow you to lay out your wishes for medical care (living will) and name someone to carry out your instructions (power of attorney for health care). The health care directives you make with Quicken WillMaker & Trust provide guidance for your loved ones if you are not able to make medical decisions for yourself. Making your wishes known (and legally binding) can spare your loved ones uncertainty and conflict during a difficult time.
DURABLE POWER OF ATTORNEY FOR FINANCES -- A durable power of attorney ensures that someone you trust (called your ”agent” or ”attorney-in-fact”) will be on hand to manage the practical, financial tasks that will arise if you become incapacitated. For example, bills must be paid, bank deposits must be made, and someone must manage insurance and benefits paperwork. In most cases, a durable power of attorney for finances is the best way to take care of tasks like these.
FINAL ARRANGEMENTS & LETTERS TO SURVIVORS -- Ease the burden on your loved ones by leaving clear descriptions about your preferences for burial, cremation, memorials, obituaries, and more. Use the Letter to Survivors to leave your loved ones detailed explanations about your decisions. For example, you may want to let them know why you made certain gifts or named a particular person to be your executor. You can also use your letter to leave general thoughts about your life.

5.0 out of 5 stars Why pay a lawyer when you can use this for a fraction of the cost?

I would imagine that the cost of this software (over a hundred bucks) scares off a lot of people, but when you consider how much it costs to hire an attorney to prepare a new Will, Transfer on Death Deed, Health Care Directive, and Durable Power of Attorney (all essential estate documents), this software is a veritable bargain. For example, I contacted a local attorney to get quotes on preparing the aforementioned documents, and the quote was well over $2,000. Instead, I purchased this software and created my own essential estate documents in just a few hours and at no cost, other than the cost of the software itself. It's comforting to know that the software generates documents that meet all of the requirements of the particular state you live in, so the documents I created are legally correct and should be accepted by all city, county and state entities upon my death. I was impressed with the ease of creating these all-important documents and have already had the Transfer on Death Deed (which exempts my home from going through the dreaded probate court) recorded by the County Clerk, who examined and readily accepted it. The other legal documents did not have to be recorded or otherwise furnished to a government entity at this time, but I'm confident that they will withstand any legal scrutiny after my death. This ranks as one of the most cost-saving purchases I have ever made. I am highly impressed with this product and enthusiastically recommend it as a "no-brainer alternative" to the ridiculous fees charged by attorneys these days.

Really NOT sure why. Anyways, the license key in the delivered CDROM based package was rejected when I tried to register online..

I called the phone number shown on the reject page. That TS support suggested I filled out a form onn their website for support. This I did. I also sent a follow up email on the reject.

This was on a Saturday. Early Monday morning I received an email reply giving me a link to download the software. This worked OK and the software is up and running now. Good support but only during Monday to Friday.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very extensive Wills program

Had our wills originally done by a lawyer about 20 years ago. Used this program and compared the verbage and this program pretty much included all the previous stuff but added stuff for our internet society. Very much impressed how thorough the program is.

5.0 out of 5 stars Helped me to know what's important and get my paperwork together

This seems to have everything I need. It took me a bit (on an older computer) to get it loaded, but after that it was a simple fill-in-the-blank set-up and included things that I wouldn't have thought of to get together. It helped us realize what a PAIN it would be for someone else if we passed away and didn't have documents and contact info put together somewhere. It also helped us to consider who would be our beneficiaries and who would be good to manage certain things. This then helped us to initiate conversations with our children on some of these big issues. We kept it light but serious - "So we're not planning to pass away for 127 years, but we're making these documents anyways just so everything's all organized." Once the questions were filled in, the program created legal documents with the information I had filled in. We still need to print the documents and I want to get it notarized (free notary at our library). At some point we may pay to have a lawyer review it just to be sure, but for now, it's a super helpful start.

I was a bit uneasy before doing this, I was pleasantly surprised to find it was so easy!
If you’ve ever used Turbo Tax you’ll notice the process is very much like that. It’s super simple, doesn’t take very long and It’s legal after getting it motorized. Saves hundreds of dollars. we were quoted $1,500. with an attorney. Will Maker is the way to go.
