    This game is mostly luck with the only skill in the initial aiming of the ball but it's still a lot of fun to watch it bounce around. It's amazing how much your body wants to make the ball move but it just doesn't work that way!

    Some of the "bonus" green balls add a bit more skill with such as flippers for the lobster.

    Yes, it's basically the same as the Peggle game but different levels but that doesn't diminish it's fun value. I've even gotten a few Aces!

    Love the sounds and graphics. Would give it five stars, except when I upgraded to a new computer, the aspect on this game is skewed/stretched horizontally. My BASIC Peggle still works fine, but not Peggle Nights. No clear resolution from my web search.

    I really enjoyed the original version. I hoped 'nights' would be 'prettier', but the art work is rather blurry and at times the themes are unsettling.
    For example the dragon scenes of serious fires are kind of disturbing.
    The characterization of the peggle masters have undergone some transformations which are less than becoming.....why is the zen owl now a circus performer and rock musician? Why not say, a pirate with a big ship?
    The splork from space is a neighborhood bowler, and the flower is shown running across a bridge on legs.
    The supposedly french lobster 'claude' has some really cringe worthy stereotyped comments to make......
    I wound up hating them more than liking them.
    The new character is 'Marina' who has some zapping electric bolt which I have not really got the hang of yet.
    Much of the game is the same as before, and the rather elegant geometry is still pleasant to look at, but the newer ones are not inspired. Those look to me like random rat's nests of higgledy piggeldy ugliness....actually, reminiscent of contemporary 'architecture'......
    Why do a remake if it's not as inspired as the original?

    I love the peggle games, this is the second I have purchased. You can win the game fairly easily but it's a lot harder to earn the Ace ribbon or the clear the board ribbon with enough points. That's what I like tho. My reflexs aren't what they once were and they don't have to be. But they are still a challenge....And it gives you lots of practice to get better.... Very fun, hope they have another one out soon with more variety....
