 I have had light room for many years, and I love the ease of use and how simple the tools are. If you are either an amateur or professional, you could have fun with this program. The price is great and I would recommend it to anybody.

You'll notice that nowhere on this product page, can you find any fine print/terms and conditions preparing you for how Amazon has set up this "annual" subscription to almost never give you the full benefit of the promised one year. In reality, the moment you make your purchase of this item, the clock starts ticking. However, there is a button to activate your subscription at Adobe, and to provide an e-mail address corresponding with your Adobe account. Only AFTER that full linking process is complete, does your actual Adobe subscription begin. But the clever capitalists at Amazon designed this digital subscription process to never give you the full benefit of your 12 months, unless at the exact same time you make your purchase, you also go through the multi-step activation process with Adobe.

This means that if you activate and link one month later, in your mind, that's when the subscription begins. But Amazon's greed won't have it: you've already lost of month of your subscription, totally unused.

It's as if you bought shampoo from Amazon, put it into your bathroom cabinet for a month, then found it got partly used up magically because Amazon assumed (i.e., demanded) you'd start using it immediately upon receipt.

Amazon has no intention of changing this. You're warned. Buy elsewhere.

Adobe charges ludicrously high prices for a mediocre editing program (compared to the classic version). However, I got this for 40 bucks off on prime day which should be the actual price to being in with. Worth the money I paid to renew because I’ve just been editing on the go now. Hope adobe brings all features from LrC to Lr.

Even though Photoshop is above Lightroom in the graphic. This only provides Lightroom, not the full version of Photoshop.

The Adobe Creative Cloud plan is 119.99 per year. This stunted, greatly reduced product is selling at the same price. What the heck is that? And then they give it a 25% discount? It's not worth the reduced price compared to the Creative Cloud program. Maybe if they gave it a 50% discount, it might be worth the price.

"Lightroom" now refers to a dumbed-down version without basic features like icm profiles or edit history. The actual app you can use to get work done is called "Lightroom Classic". Obviously I should have read more carefully before clicking the buy button on this.

Adobe is completely greedy. I'm sorry. The chat supports stinks. I tried for weeks to simply load the paid for Creative Cloud with Lightroom and Photoshop. Whoever is in control of Adobe should resign. There comes a point when you decide, good product, good customer support or get the money, get the money, get the money. It's now a third world company. Disgusting. And there is not a thing wrong with my PC. It's blazing fast.
