I nneded an old version of FTM since the old version does stuff the new versions don't.....putt, putt, putt, putt

I need to send it back or get a new one. The package says that there are two CD's located in a plastic case, in addition to the five CD's. I did not get the two separate CD's. I need them to even get started.. I thought it would be a program where I could create my own family tree. Am I wrong? If not, then it is misrepresented, in my opinion.

I have used this program for almost 30 years and have always been very pleased with it. A few years ago FTM was bought by powerful Ancestry which owns online family history brands, including Ancestry.com, Archives.com, Fold3.com, Newspapers.com, Find a Grave, as well as the Ancestry DNA products. Last year (2015) Ancestry forced all subscribers to "upgrade" to it's new software, Ancestry 2014. This year Ancestry has informed all subscribers it will no longer support FTM after 2017. Guess what? In 2017 Ancestry will be rolling out new software and again, everyone will be forced to "upgrade." Totally disgusted with Ancestry, I canceled my subscription and now exclusively use the totally free LDS site! Shame on Ancestry for such underhanded business practice and here's hoping LDS takes a big bite out their business!
