It will not update! No more updates available for snow leopard or updates to any OS; mavrick, lion..etc

The snow leopard CD doesn't work. I just tried to reinstall the software and at one point there was an error, the error was no support files. I couldn't finish the install. The snow leopard is stuck in my computer. Now I can't use the computer, Imac computer. There is something wrong with the cd. Now I have to pay a tech person to get rd CD out of the cd from drive and it will cost me more money like around $145.00 to have it fixed. When and if I get the cd out from tech help from Best Buy I plan to send it back for a refund. Now I have to spend more money for it than I can afford. am am using my Amazon fire tablet. I am stuck without a computer.

Bought this due to my OS crashing and not rebooting. Input the Disk to install and all I got was the apple logo. Not sure if the product works or I got a bad copy. Either way. Would not recommend.
