MiniTab is MiniTab. version 17 isn’t much different than version 16. There are minor tweaks, but the statistical solutions and the formulas don’t change. There are always minor usability improvements. Look at the price of a slightly older version and compare that to a current new copy. If you absolutely need a new copy, buy an older version, then request an update version, it’s a third the price. I haven’t installed this one yet, but I have no doubts it will work just fine.

I had Mini Tab 15 and 16 but in changing computers I could not get the licence switched over. I looked at the new Minitab 19 and it was over $2500! When I saw this I was skeptical; two lifetime licences for $150 I had to try it. I received it and was able to install on my new desktop and my laptop. Quite happy with it!

Install was great. Works like a charm. This is one of few pieces of specialized work software I recommend. Too bad they've gone to a subscription model.

Finally received the item on 12/26...about three months after ordering. Program loaded on my computer, it will not execute. When I attempted to analyze a group of numbers, the program closed, screen went blank, and computer went back to home screen.
