Loading the disk is difficult, because the instructions are NOT CORRECT. Disk would not book on my Windows 10 Pro system. Place the disk in a running system and it opened. Running disk says you must got to an online site to download the operating system That means the "operating system" will download from a digital site, which can lead to the same problem that I currently have. The previously site is no longer available so the running operating system can not be verified. Windows security has rated the running system as pirated. The reason for buying a CD version of the operating system is to insure that if a problem arises, you can reload the operating system on your new drive and not have the problems with activation. The disk provided does not have the activation key so the product key is pointless. I had hopes that this disk would resolve the activation problem but I was wrong. I have returned it because it is very overpriced for a disk that does not contain a installable operating system. I would not recommend this product. Hope that helps.

I was given a laptop computer that needed a hard drive. The sticker on the system was for Windows 7 professional, which is no longer available. Hence, the need for a newer Windows. This was a reasonable price and looks like a legitimate copy. Microsoft thought so as well, because I was able to register it.

I need Windows due to work, and this was a good price. Was it as easy to install as Fedora (Linux)? Not at all, but a lot easier than XP was in the day.

I was able to upgrade windows7 to 10 without a problem. The instruction was easy to follow. I highly recommend this product.

This worked great for my Dell Latitude Rugged Extreme. Even with my lack of technical knowledge, I was able to figure out the entire booting process with the included instructions. Very beneficial.

I changed the boot sequence to boot up on the DVD/ CD drive. The disk loaded without any issues, if you can follow instructions. Or have the computer savvy, no issues. I had my doubts after reading the reviews. If you are not sure how to load this software. Ask questions to a person that knows
