Easy to use and has good features

The software will burn movies to dvd but the menu doesn't work at all and i tested the dvd in multiple dvd players to see if the menu would work. You can play the movie or a single video if you have multiple videos recorded on the dvd but if you press the menu button to go back to the menu to play a different video it doesn't work. You can stop the video but once you hit play again it goes right back to playing the last video you were on at the same point of the video. I even ejected the dvd from the player and turned the power off then back on to the dvd player and put the dvd back in and the menu won't come back up even then. If you hit play it'll go right back to the last video you were playing at the same point of the video and that's after turning the dvd player off and back on. The only way i could get it to work was to fast forward through that video and let it reach the end and once it does it'll go back to the menu. But at no time can you use the menu manually which defeats the purchase of having a menu especially if you record multiple videos like a series with episodes. You basically get what you pay for.

This program is okay if you only have 2 channel stereo audio in your movies. In fact, it will remove any 5.1 audio tracks and down-mix them to 2 channel only - disappointing. It claims to create high-quality movies, but I beg to differ. I questioned this to their product support and they did respond only to confirm that this limitation is by design and no plans to provide this feature.

I had been struggling with backups for my computer. I did full system and full disk backups, but I also wanted to do direct burning of files that were working files or essential data. One set was the files under AppData, which has the email and browser user data. So, I tried 3 separate burners, multiple different disks and 2 other programs. The other burning programs kept giving me an "unknown error." Just great, how am I supposed to figure that one out. So, I bought this software and it worked perfectly. No problems. Plus, it is really inexpensive. This was a great buy.

I wasted about a dozen brand new discs that this burner ruined without burning an MP3 song, even though the program gives a message that the CD's I'm using are fine for burning MP3's. They burn in Windows Media Player without any problem. I went through all the trouble-shooting without success, then contacted the website for help. I sent them a detailed help-needed message. They emailed me back saying they got my request and someone would contact me shortly. That was 2 weeks ago. They're lousy, and so is their product.
