To start, the software installed without fault on my Windows 11 PC. It was purchased and downloaded from Amazon on Feb 1, 2022. I needed the program to file a 1041 for the Trust of deceased parents with disbursements to various beneficiaries. The program handled the job with ease, using a question and answer format throughout. It generated the necessary K1 forms in pdf format for delivery and use by the beneficiaries. Having no experience I was understandably nervous. It would have cost at least $700+ to hire someone if I could even find someone willing and able to to Trusts. The state program does cost an extra $50, its purchased within Turbotax, so the entire package is around $160.

The download installed with no issues. Opened the software and got the usual update message, downloaded the update, restarted the software, and entered the activation key code. Program started right up with no problems.

I love this program for my taxes. Makes them easy every year. I only give it 4 stars because there is no Apple/Mac version for LLCs and Corporations, which seems like a real oversight. The first year I had to buy an inexpensive PC laptop, which I drag out only once a year for taxes.

Purchased this product on 1/26/2022. The license number given with my download does not work. You cannot get a human on the phone to help you at Turbo Tax. The automated says there is a Known Issue and offers to email you a link that might help. They sent me a link for Error Code 630, which in a nutshell states I typed in my code wrong and to enter it again correctly. My data entry was not the problem. I went to their website to trouble shoot what else could cause my problem. So . . . I made sure my windows was up to date, made sure my virus software was not causing it to download incorrectly, uninstalled it, then reinstalled it, and it still does not work. Their site suggests my system may not be compatible. I purchased this product last year from Amazon, and it worked great. I've got the same computer, that fits the same listed requirements, so I'm pretty sure my system is compatible.

I purchased this a week ago, and I cannot navigate Turbo Tax's automated system to get actual help. Very disappointed. Hopefully, Turbo Tax will figure out how to resolve this issue and I can get a valid License Code.

I've used TurboTax Business for many years. It successfully generates Trust 1041 returns as well as Schedule K1 to send to the beneficiaries. Since TurboTax (Premiere) knows how to import Sched D data, why is this feature missing from TurboTax Business? I will keep using this product as it has no competition for trusts and estates.
