    The software requires you to register a email and key -after installation- to use the software. It can not be uninstalled and then re-installed on the same system or any other if you have issues or want to move it. That's it. Once used you can never use the key again. If you upgrade or your system is corrupted you're out of luck and $25 bucks to boot. The software developer makes it clear you need to pay again to reinstall or move the software. This type of software license was attempted in the 90's by greedy software developers. It was challenged in court and found to be in violation of the purchasers property and use rights. For that reason it's implementation was considered a resounding failure and consumers avoided the tactic and the software developers that used it like the plague. The software also has not recovered any intact files on a deep scan and I think compared to Final Data it is missing over half the deleted content on the hard drive.

    Purchased this program to try and save a USB stick that somehow became "unreadable" to Windows. Have spent almost 12 hours letting it run with "zero" results. As a test I tried a known good USB and had the same results. Not worth the money or rating.

    I bought this product hoping to recover some of my lost or deleted Word Perfect files on my computer, but after trying for several hours over about two weeks, I was unsuccessful in recovering anything.

    I just received my data recovery software yesterday. Downloaded and registered it on my laptop. Did the recovery tool on my portable hard drive and it did not recover any of my lost data. Some of my old data were recovered under a different file name. Today I tried it again and still not recovered my lost data.
    Not happy with this recovery tool. ????
    What kind of software can I get to open those files that are recovered but can't open?
