Parallels is one of the most customer-adversarial software companies out there today. They're now requiring you to register an account on their website and do a cloud login just in order to *activate* the license which I already purchased. So I can't just put in the activation key anymore – I have to sign up on their damn website. There are competing products out there which people might want to consider (e.g. VMware Fusion).
