    Years ago I used PSP X4 for photo editing, but as time passed I found freeware packages performed well enough for what I needed. Recently, I found that I needed software with some more higher-end functionality but I did not want to pay hundreds of dollars for professional software where I would not use all of the features.

    This version (2022) of PSP has all of the features that I will need at a price that I think is very reasonable. I especially appreciate the AI background editing functionality. Anyone familiar with higher-end editing software should find the interface reasonably easy to navigate. For beginners I'd advise you to read up about how to get started before installation - it will take me a little time and experimentation to explore all of the functionality of this package.

    Since the software is on DVD you'll obviously need to have an optical drive in, or attached to your computer in order to load it. The subsequent registration is done online.

    Read the system requirements before purchasing this product and make sure it matches with what you have,

    The software does work, it takes too long to upload by disk but whatever. Tech Support is beyond slow and inept. The box shows all the system requirements, what it doesn't explain is if you have an old version of windows but an up-to-date internet explorer will it run with no conflicting issues of having an old version of windows. I mean you can read what I just posted, you are probably going dur dur dur you should have done this n this. Point is, if you are not a computer nerd, get someone to install this for you. Do not rely on customer support to answer your questions because they outsource the help to people who can only read what is on the screen in front of them and do not comprehend anything else.

    The software works as expected. What wasn't expected was that every time the software is opened I am greeted with advertising. I thought I bought photo-editing software. What I really bought was a platform for Corel to display advertisements to me.

    Corel support has been useless and this is the SECOND one in less than two weeks. INVALID SERIAL NUMBER!!! and all you get from Corel support is a hard to undrstand rep telling you that its being sent to he tech department and you never hear from them again! and I tried to get a disk load an old version that I have that was offered for free when I purchased it and now they want to charge me for it. This company has gone to crap!!
