WHEN YOU TRY TO GO TO ANOTHER SITE (BESIDES YOU TUBE) THE SOFTWARE TELLS YOU THAT YOU HAVE TO PAY AN ADDITIONAL $29.00 FOR THE "FULL VERSION" THERE WAS NOTHING SAID ABOUT A "FULL VERSION" IN THE ADVERTISEMENT ON AMAZON!

I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE AT AMAZON AND THEY TOLD ME THIS:

YOU HAVE TO READ EACH AND EVERY WORD IN THE ADVERTISEMENT, IN OTHER WORDS READ THE "FINE" PRINT! NOTHING IN THE ADVERTISEMENT THAT I CAN SEE SAID ANYTHING ABOUT WHAT I WAS ORDERING WAS NOT THE FULL VERSION!

YOU ONLY FIND THAT OUT AFTER YOU HAVE PURCHASED IT. SO UNDERSTAND THIS EVERYONE. WHEN YOU PURCHASE THIS ITEM, YOU CAN ONLY DOWNLOAD FROM YOU TUBE. YOU HAVE TO PAY ANOTHER $29.00 TO GET THE "FULL VERSION"

I WILL SAY THIS. THERE ARE SOME VIDEOS THAT REALPLAYER WILL NOT DOWNLOAD CORRECTLY, BUT WONDERSHARE DOES DO IT CORRECTLY. THAT PART OF IT WILL GET 5 STARS. IT'S THE DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING THAT GETS THIS PRODUCT A 1 STAR RATING FROM ME.

I purchased this software way back 2013 and it’s been excellent in downloading MP3 from youtube to my phone and some karaoke songs (MP4) and I had no problems for 6 long years. Until it prompted me to update the new version. But after getting the so called new version my key code wasn’t accepted anymore and went back to the trial version. Called Amazon but not much of a help because they said it was long been purchased. Because I really like the system I didn’t mind buying it again for $29.00. But I tried to reach the Wondershare website and initiated a conversation with Will, and to my surprise He responded immediately and provided me things to do and the following day my license key was updated and back to my normal system. I was so glad that I didn’t have repurchase the software again.
So for those who experienced the same, and bought from amazon, try to open that purchase and get your license key and go to the Wondershare website and they will be willing to hepl you. I never had problems with this, bery clean, no virus so far.

The software is okay. But the basic software only converts one minute of video to mp3. To get full conversion, you have to pay another $29.00 for a supplemental software download (the basic software download also cost $29.00 - on November 13, 2013 that was the price). Maybe the problem was I didn't read the fine print for the basic software. But I think it should have been made more obvious that the basic software only converts one minute of video to mp3. I might have thought twice about paying $58.00 instead of the $29.00 I thought it was going to cost me. When I found out, I was already too far into a project not to pay another $29.00 to finish the project. BUT TAKE NOTICE: TO GET FULL LENGTH VIDEO TO MP3 CONVERSION, IT WILL COST YOU MORE THAN WHAT YOU PAY FOR THE BASIC SOFTWARE. That said, after the sticker shock of the supplemental software download, the software performed well.

OK. Got a bit confused as after install from Amazon finished, I clicked on shortcut icon for Wondershare Allmytube and got an error message: '49388:https=127.0.0.1:49388' is not a valid integer value. It would not go to the program. So, I went to the website, which was not as indicated by another reviewer. Go to wondershare.com. Anyway, there you get the offer to install a free version. Install it. When it installs, from the completion screen that appears, select the "register" option. When you first download in Amazon, you get a confirmation that offers to let you view the key and Wondershare email address. Copy those, one at a time, and paste into the corresponding boxes in the registration popup on the Wondershare site. You are then registered, without paying $29 twice.

For whatever reason, the Amazon link for installation completion and registration link is defective, in my case, giving that problematic error message. That's when and why sh*t happens. Hope that helps,

I gave four stars because neither Amazon nor Wondershare were of any help. No access to instant live assistance. Net result is that Amazon tech assist is probably unaware of the broken link to the Wondershare site. And Wondershare fails to note that if you have purchased from Amazon, to simply register for full access, using the "Amazon" install registration code and licensed email for Wondershare.

Anyway, that was my experience. I played a hunch and it worked. I would, however, remove the review with the incorrect website for Wondershare.

Amazon, I need a part-time job. Any openings in software tech assist?

I have been using this software for several years. Today (6/27/24) it stopped working. On all 3 of my computers, all that happens when I paste in the YouTube link address, it will "analyzing", then give you the error message "Failed to download...". This happens even on some of the files I have loaded to YouTube, so I know it's not copy protected causing the file not to download.

I went to Wondershare's website, and this product is not even listed anymore, and there seems to be no support.

My recommendation: Buy something else.
