I've been using Parallels for the past decade. It went from super amazing to crud, back to pretty amazing. The technical capabilities is far beyond (in my opinion, anyway) is much more put together than say VirtualBox.
What I keep waiting for, however, is that Parallels would be able to support Win10 on Apple Silicon (M1). Parallels advertises strongly that you can run Win10 on MacOS Monterey, which seems like they've solved the ARM-based processor challenge. But alas, they still haven't.
Apple is going to leave Parallels in the dust if Parallels doesn't make good use of Rosetta2 M1 emulation to allow users to run Win10. It's worth a shot.
