First off, the install process was a little archaic, reminded me of software installs from the 90's. But it's a good program. Lots of tools and effects built right in. I am a newbie to video editing but not a newbie to software so much of it was intuitive if you've seen the evolution of software art, music, and movie programs. It is completely workable if you have time and patience to learn, but life is like for anything really. I played with some old Holiday videos and had a blast working with my daughter who DID have some school experience. She will most likely continue on with this. Please remember, this software is a tool not a learning/tutoring software, if you don't know what you are doing this software isn't going to magically bestow that knowledge upon you. Install it, then go search for tutorials. Google is your friend :)

It has a lot of built-in effects and templates that do a lot of the work for you. Select a template and test-drive the effect before you apply it to your video. This may be my favorite feature. No painful "undo". It has a wide variety of export options including burning to a disk.
The software comes on a disk but you can download the software from the company directly. It is easy and painless to download and install.
Kudos to the developers of this exceptional software.
