Top reviews from the United States
It was easily installed. The learning curve was relatively easy (Not too much different than my earlier version) (First time users will have a steeper learning curve). And the software is very stable on my computer... No glitches.
Also have found this software very easy to use. Does everything that I need it to do. Highly recommended.
that it advertised that it would make use of the EXIF tags in an image
to display location information. Using Google Maps in addition to
obtaining the location is a great way to make use of the
Latitude/Longitude information and really added value and usability.
If this feature is discontinued I see very little reason for me have
purchased this product and I will request a refund.
Corel decided to discontinue the Google Map API service from now on.

THE PROS
• Ease of use - the learning curve on this is very good for anyone starting out with digital media. There are many tutorials on how to create brushes and such, yourself.
• Less Hotkeying than PS - the options are pretty straightforward when you want to perform actions, usually in the form of a button or pretty intuitive menu options (which you can also create and save your own).
• Layout - Their layout stays pretty much the same, it is the reason why I went ahead and bought this one but, they did add in some extra features to improve workload.
THE CONS
• Customer service - tl;dr Pray your computer doesn't break down during a crisis and you need to work, Corel dgaf and won't work with you, their priority is to make money and you will learn this all too quickly.
I cannot yell this out so I will try to make this as clear as I can to you, dear reader....their customer service is TERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIBBBBBBLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLE. I've been a customer with Corel for over 10 years. After which, my computer gave out, so I was able to download my original Corel PSP (which I believe was version 11, I had a backup copy on my external drive) to my spare computer but, it insisted I activate it all over again. I contacted customer service then asked if I could just get the code so I can unlock it and they told me they couldn't because it was an older version. Mind you, I was able to still use it prior to my computer dying, so what gives? Oh yeah, forgot, they need to MAKE MONEY $$$$$$$$$$$. Why force a customer to upgrade if it was working just fine? After a decade-plus of being a customer, you'd figure they'd at least offer a discount or something but nope, they were insistent I pay the $99 or gtho. So I waited until the newer one was going to come out and bought this one when the price came down to something more to my budget.
• Layout & Pop-ups - Layout, yes, this is here again...because I was pretty much going to be forced to pay top price for something that pretty much still looks the same and now even worse because I can NOT move the buttons or make adjustments to certain features like I could in the older version. You will now get pop-ups every now and then too, because you know...they want to see if they can drain your pocket more. I haven't figured out a way to remove them from appearing because I opted out of notifications and I STILL get them. So it is quite annoying.
I read, off and on about Corel and decided to give it try, At the time, I found it even more limited and more difficult to use. So I stuck with what I had. Shortly thereafter I was shocked to learn that Corel had purchased my current software, and it became so difficult o use I gave up the web site business and returned to my Structural Engineering firm. Now, some 40years later, I am retired and just piddling on the computer. With a life time of photographs I thought it would be interesting to manipulate a few, making them more interesting, so I purchased a\this edition of Corel. The first thing I noticed was that the first group of screens were in fact advertisements exhorting the user to purchase numerous add on's to the program. When I finally got to a screen where I might be able to work on one of my photographs I found it totally confusing and would be a very steep learning curve to utilize it. So Corel is back in its box and I have retired for a second time. Corel might be a piece of software for the professional who has time and personal help to learn all the ends and outs of the software. For the individual with limited experience with such software I personally found it over whelming.
