This thing only finds duplicate files. If you have a Windows computer it will show all files including
duplicates and hidden files. I have Mac desktop and
Mac Air so I have to use a Windows 10 to find hidden
files. On Mac they say you use Terminal to find
hidden files, which is like typing snytac command
which hastn't worked for me. what I'm saying is use
a PC to find these hidden files which didn't work for me
uding this Gemini softwarel. I just threw $30 out the
window.

I "purchased" this program for free in October 2013 as part of some sort of promotion. If I knew how much it would help free up precious hard drive space (not to mention the enjoyment I get out of watching Gemini "shred away" the duplicate files), I would have paid more than the $9.99 it's currently selling for. I must have really had a hard time remembering Jenny's number. And who knew I had 4 identical copies of "Hey Jude"?

All jokes aside, the software is intuitive to use and easy to customize. You can sort duplicates by date, manually choose versions you want to keep, or let Gemini intelligently recommend which versions you might do away with. I use it frequently and recommend it to friends often.

If you find yourself running out of space on your hard drive(s) or would like some help with "Spring cleaning", this will definitely make your life easier. Clutter begets clutter!

info not very clear that this was for a Mac. I only use Windows. Paid for nothing I could use. Sounded decent though.

Please pay close attention to the reviews, DOES NOT WORK IN WINDOWS 10. I was in a hurry for a dupe finder and did not read the reviews. Also on the descriptions when I saw an 8 and 10, I assumed it was windows. I did manage to download and extract the files but I could not find anything to install the program. I searched the net for something to help but I began to notice it was mostly MAC programs. So I realized that I had flushed $10 away. Mistakes cost money.

We tried for 2 days to make it work, went to the gemini discussion board, went to help pages and emailed Gemini.
No reply and no luck with anything, just many hours WASTED.
One of us is a computer specialist, couldn't make Gemini work either.
Than we went online, got a free download, and it worked, no problem at all.

I downloaded this from Amazon today (October 2021) as it was a good price...
but the SW is a VERY OLD release, from 2013!!!!
