    I was disappointed that it didn't have a ruler or guide lines. Also there is no way to keep a chosen font as the default font. You have to scroll through the whole font list whenever you want to use the same font on another picture. I used to own Painter 13 and was used to the many features that this particular program does not offer. I bought the complete program as a result, and wish I had done that in the beginning.

    I had the older Corel Essentials 5 and loved that one, but it no longer worked on the upgrade to Mac OS Monterey. I was nervous about trying this one but so far, no issues at all. I think most of the problems people have are from the steep learning curve, but it is worth the effort to keep at it. And there is so much more on this new edition, I'm enjoying Painter very much. Here are some of my early efforts.

    Well maybe the complete Corel painter suite might be good (I haven't try it ) but this limited version of it , is not the best digital painting software . Although if what you want is a jump start fast tool for digital painting this might be the best tool my advice is to check other ones. Maybe the Affinity Suite will give you a better start up experience and is not that expensive.
    But to be honest you can get way much better painting and drawing programs for less money than this one . PAINT STORM is a monster app for Mac, and is pretty cheap.
    REBELLE 4 is a mounstrosity of a software , and in terms of imitate the organic mood of real paint is the best of the best.
    Make sure that if you are gonna buy this one that you belong to range of artist who doesn't like complex interface software ,and easy to use one. This one is certainly a very easy and handy painting limited software to use. As a learning tool for young artist and hobbyist is great. But for a the experience and professional artist it is but a joke .

    I am not able to install software, should have stayed with Adobe. After hours with their Tech I am still unable to download or use the software. Company will not refund your money.

    Barely works on my Mac. Does very little. Most of the features are unavailable.

    I need to amend my initial evaluation. After updating my Mac, it worked better, but still not exceptional by any means. If you are looking for a basic program, the price is fair. So, three stars.
