Do not buy this product !!! It will not continue to work . I Have it i n 2 computers and it will work one time and must be reinstalled the next time I want to use it. One computer not working could be the computer but not both computers ? The pop up said that it could not find internet access . I have 5G internet . This happens every time and when I reinstall I must enter the serial # and that is another installation use and you are allowed only so many uses on one purchase. Good luck trying to contact the company. Pretty good SCAM. WARNING This is a SUBSCRIPTION your credit card will be charged again for $87.75 in 6 months.

does a pretty good job. I was using the xp version and never replaced it, using other products got frustrated and went back to something I was familiar with.

Difficult to use, poor help

Years ago I purchased Fixit Utilities, upon the recommendation of my computer repair person. It worked so well all those years ago when my office computer wouldn't boot on Windows XP that, upon my husband's computer getting stuck in safe mode after a windows update and wouldn't boot, it was an attempt to avoid a costly computer repair at our local shop (not the best). When the disc arrived, it took hours to get to the part where it could be used to boot the computer. Once I found out how to do this, not from the instruction book or Fix it Utilities, but rather google and youtube searches, I was able to get the computer to boot normally. But since the original problem, computer freezes, was still an issue, I wanted to install Fixit on the computer. This took several more hours, as the instructions in the book did not work for installation. I was finally able to install it, and register the product, however the rest of the program will not load, and I simply don't have the time. This is an awful program compared to the awesome program it used to be. And that lack of instruction was made all the more frustrating by the fact that there is no way to talk to a real person to find out why! All help is automated, and none of it applied. I would recommend using a different program rather than this one if you have computer issues. Unlike it's previous version, this one is basicly trash, and that's where I will be throwing it when I drive to the local computer office to get it repaired!

I tried this and was very very very disappointed in it. I have had Fix It utilities in the past but this time I should have just thrown the darn thing in the trash and forgot about it. I had a small problem with one program and thought this would fix the problem. But holy moley... It caused over 1652 other problems. I now have to by a special program just to uninstall the darn thing. Some one who was visiting me saw the program and wanted to try it. I warned them.. but have not heard from then for quite some time now. I suspect the program made them vanish too.

Anti Virus Program

I downloaded Fix-It utilities on my desk top computer but could not get it to download on my lap top. I was supposed to be able to use it on five computers. I ordered this boxed CD so I could use it on my lap top but when I installed this program it picked up the number of days I had left on my original download. Since I paid $39.99 for this CD I felt I should have gotten my full year for it. I contacted Avenquest and they told me what I have to do to delete the original download which I did not find acceptable. I have not done this to date but I don't feel like I should have to go through this process with my new purchased CD.

Bad Program

Did not like because, I downloaded product and it locked up my computer. It was nearly two weeks before I could get back on line. I wasn't allowed to activate fix it, therefore I did not have access to my computer. I had to pay a tech to delete the program in which cost me more than the program itself and my internet service came back instantly. I don't know what was wrong with the program, but when I had windows 7 I used it. When I bought my new dell it was a nightmare. I believe I should be reimbursed for the clitched program but I know it won't happen.
