    Have used this year but I bought a laptop with Windows 8 and it will not work. I'm trying to find some sort of update. It WILL work with VISTA

    They didn't make it clear that the program was a quarter century out of date (made for Windows 95). I suppose some of the fault is mine for not checking better, but honestly they shouldn't even be selling software what doesn't run on modern OS.

    I like the program and wanted to put it on my new computer because I'm not sure how long my windows 98 computer is going to last and I had lost my original disc. Unfortunately it is not compatible with windows 10.

    I did not notice the system requirements in the second photo. This software will not run on my Windows 7 computer. Do not order this software unless you are running Windows 95 or 3.1.

    Just want to make sure Family Origins will run on Windows 10 as I can’t locate my original disc to install on newly purchased computer. Have all backed up on flash drive but no way to install it.

    I've used Family Origins for >20 years. Don't remember which version I started with but currently using version 9.0 which DOES run on Windows 10. Picture is screenshot of my database; nearly 190,00 individuals and over 400k events and citations. Just wanted to note Win10 & FoW can work.
