This software was a good price and was easy to use. Not a lot of bells and whistles, but that's not what I was looking for. Got the job done quickly and easily.

I puchased this video to transfer my old vhs tapes to dvd. The software does not burn to disk. It has an add on that does but it is only a trial version that you need to pay extra for after the trial is over. I also tried to create a file for transfer but after 23 minutes of recording, it dropped all further frames even though I was using a drive capable of 100 hours of video. If you want something that will make a video for facebook, it is fine, but to do a real project, save you money because it is not refundable. Another product on Amazon that does not meet the description supplied by the manufacturer.

I put in the search bar for the converter for Mac, and this product came up. After I downloaded this nonreturnable product, I realized it will not work on my Mac. Read the small print! You need more than just "a computer"; you need a PC. I understand I should have looked more closely. Total fail in your search bar, Amazon! I was more concerned with the quality of the product and overlooked it when I switched from a lesser product that actually does work on Macs. Lesson learned.

Absolutely love this program. I’ve tried a few others but this one is by far the best. The sound quality is top notch. I’ve had no problem with it yet and I’ve recorded 12 vhs-c tapes so far.

Very good video results considering the quality of the old vhs & 8mm tapes that were duplicated. I purchased another vhs to dvd capture tool that I acquired from amazon and the quality of the software that came with it was very poor. Used the same capture tool with this software and had a trememdous improvement in video quality.

This product works and works well. I have been able to convert all of my miniDV and VHS tapes to digital with reasonably lossless quality on my PC. As in my headline, out of the box, it did not work. In fact I had several issues that required resolution before I was able to work through it flawlessly. But here's the thing - their customer service is super. If you have a problem or don't know what to do, they jump on it and help you fix it (in my case, it was a Windows 10 settings issue). So I recommend the product. And that is something I don't usually do.

I downloaded the software, followed the instructions, I could see the vhs playing but then the program crashed. I tried numerous times but the same thing happens and I reported it as bug but nothing happened!
I'm disappointed because I paid for this program and I can't return or get a refund for it.
