Easy to use but had a hard time registering

Once I was able to get the product code from an email from the company, I was able to get it to stop asking me enter the code. As a paying customer I think it is rude however to have to anything other than click download. But, the product is good.

I'm overall very satisfied with the software. Whatever kind of editing I need to do, it has the option to do it. Whether editing the video or audio of the video, the features are there. There may be a learning curve for some users, yet there are many tutorials online to get the most of the Software.

Good Starting Software Ruined by Developers

I used videopad video editor for 9 years for casual fun, passion projects, and school work, and honestly I would recommend it to people who are unfamiliar with video editing and would like to dip their feet in the water.

That's what I would say until recently. I used an older version of the system which I didn't mind however, after updating I found that the system wanted me to purchase a new registration code because my current code was for an older version.

I think it's awful that they try to extort even more money out of people who already purchased their program before, it shows they're more interested in making money than providing a service. Why should I pay for a program I already paid for?

I would NOT recommend videopad to people from now on because of their scummy practices. It's a shame because I did enjoy the program, it was simple and easy to use. But the people behind videopad should absolutely not receive any money when they have such shady business practices.
