I loved this game as a kid but when I got older and upgraded from a Windows 95 to an XP, I was no longer able to play this so I gave it away. A few months ago, I remembered how fun this game was so I found an "XP compatible" version here on amazon. It wasn't any different than the original game CD I bought in the 90's! Anyway, my cousin has an old Windows 2000 computer which is the only computer I know that will play this. I really want Lego to re-issue this game but I know it'll never happen.
Second, the gameplay. For the most part, this is a really fun game and it's atmospheric as hell! Play this game at 3 in the morning with the lights off and listen with headphones. However, there are some major problems that make this game VERY difficult. Every time I built something (a race car, a jet ski, etc), I had a hard time dragging the pieces to where they needed to go. I had to click on the piece like 50 times before it worked. I tried clicking all over the piece again and again. It shouldn't have to be that hard! To do pretty much anything in this game, you have to click something over and over before it works.
This game is very, very, very short! This is easily the shortest game I have ever played and I could finish it in 45 minutes if only the controls worked better. Not much goes on here, you build some stuff, drive a little then capture the Brickster and that's it. If you are okay with all the drawbacks, you will love this game.
Would I buy it again if I lost it? Hell no.
