I have fairly simple needs. Line drawings of cartoon characters and coloring between the lines and a transparent background. I use Krita which is very complex, but I seem to be able to get more help online with my "how to" issues than I can with Draw Pad. I really want to be able to simplify my process and Krita is too complex, and Draw Pad is hard for me to get help...it should be simpler.

Got it to be able to edit SVG files but it seems like a pretty capable and nimble drawing program!

I tried out NCH DrawPad graphics software. I was interested in having a program that would allow me to layout a monthly newsletter. After watching their tutorial video overview, I tried laying out a page. Everything worked well. However I found editing the text a little awkward. It could have been due to my lack of experience with software. I believe once I got used to it, it would flow more naturally.
I've used, and still use, many other NCH software programs. I find them very well designed and useful.
I think they are a great value considering their usefulness.

I found the NCH DrawPad graphic software to be an awesome product! I wanted a program that would allow me to make various presentations for future publication and work-related projects. I watched the tutorial video and laid out the project I was working on and having much difficulty in completing with another software program. It worked like a charm! I was so pleased with how the project turned out. I have a lot more to learn about the software, but I find it fun and exciting to discover other features that this awesome package has to offer. Loaded with many features and functions that turn out really good works. Intuitive and easy to use for a beginner with little or no experience like myself. I went all out and bought the upgrade and find every penny spent very well worth the money spent.

This software is very helpful for basic design needs and its good that the company give the software for free. If someone who need to do graphic design but not yet professional and don't have enough money to buy expensive software, this app will be very helpful.

I bought it for $1.56 from Gamivo digital game market.
DrawPad is worth it just for being able to create your own desktop icons and saving them as ICO files.
I own Xara Photo & Graphics Designer and Serif Draw Plus X8.
Both excellent programs but for some reason don't allow you to save drawings as ICO files.
