I just don't want to learn it again. I bought this program in 2003 for 50 bucks. Pretty pricey at the time. It came with a very large text book of instruction as it also does now. It took me quite a while to get really good with the software but once I really got the hang of it ...Wow! I could do anything with it colorize old black and whites ,repair friend flood,fire and mangled photos. talk about beauty shots I was queen of the hill. Don't like your squint eyes in the photo , no problem ill just scan in some eyes you do and slap it on there! Want your wedding on the beach? Want to be marrying someone else? Anyhow, you get my drift.
After several years my photo desktop died. When I went to reinstall my Photo Explosion Deluxe software much to my horror it was missing so I ordered the new program.
This program will still do all of the above and more but in a totally different way. If you have used Adobe and Gimp you will have no problem jumping right into the software. If like me, you avoided those programs because the learning curve was a bit heavy and lengthy prepare to get over yourself and buckle down. This program has a 392 page user manual you will need to have a basic understanding of before you can edit squat, I also was not thrilled when I contacted Nova begging for information on where and how I could find the older version of this program that I am familiar with .I got zero response. That makes me leery of recommending this in case you should need some kind of customer service for this software.
All in all, if you don't mind a few weeks learning this program, add a couple more stars.
