Good price for good service

The VPN has worked well. Of course, you don’t know you’re going to have a problem until you do. Since I use it from home, my situation is pretty easy.

One thing, I had to take it off my phone because it caused problems with Apple Pay. It seems that if the GPS doesn’t match your internet location, it gets twitchy. You can turn it off, but I don’t use public WiFi much so I took it off. This would happen with any VPN.

I had Avast VPN for a year, a couple years back, and it was kind of slow and clunky. Having used Hide.me for a year, I've returned to Avast VPN after seeing this deal. It connects way faster and is also fast for browsing. P2P speeds are way better as well. Wonderful deal! (Make sure you don't driver update like another reviewer stated. Its basically just an ad.)

I purchased this software because I wanted an affordable, efficient VPN. I bought it, I use it, I like it. This is a simple "home solution" VPN with no unnecessary bells and whistles and it does exactly what I need it to do. The setup process is easy enough especially when using the SMART VPN--which I use. Are there more "advanced" VPN's out there? Probably. But for those who only need a simply straightforward VPN, this is quite a good deal.

Driver Update?

Once installed, wants a subscription to a "Driver Update" annual license. Tells us that the VPN will not work properly without updated driver, but does not identify the driver. Seems like a scam to me.

Avast continues to rate highly in testing. While Avast may not have as many server locations as others this is a dependable VPN easy to install and update. The interface is simple and uncomplicated. The speed results are good.
The big plus is if you purchase it through Amazon software you can save on monthly cost.
