Photo recovery software

The product is great and does exactly what it claims to. However, if you have any questions about the product, good luck getting help. We attempted to contact them for more information regarding use of software. Customer Service Represemtatove (in India) spoke very poor English. We requested to speak to someone else so they created a "case" so someone would call us. No one ever called. Then we received an e-mail telling us because WE didn't respond they considered the problem resolved and closed the case! Horrible customer service. Sellers should be required to provide customer service in English for American customers or not allowed to sell on Amazon!

Very nice software. I downloaded directly off web. I had a card that had lost pics via card reader and wanted to retrieve them, if possible. If you download off web and have them scan your card (as I did), be prepared to pay to have them saved and made available to download and save. I strongly suggest scanning the same card several times and saving each time. Each scan may retrieve new photos that a previous scan (or later scan) may not retrieve. I also noticed that the stellar will also download a second, smaller copy of a picture that was taken vertically. While scan #1 retrieved my sister's wedding photos, it also retrieved my son's 16th birthday. Following scans did not retrieve the same pictures. Since I saved each scan, I now have most, if not all, pics that a previous reader deleted.

I bought this because we lost pics from a camera SD card. when I got it we had to wait a bit because the computer was having problems. We finally got to TRY and use it and we could not get it even downloaded. It appears the product card does not have the correct activation code. It isn't even the correct number of digits for the code to active it on the web site. The support is totally non-existent. This was the worst $39.95 I have spent. I would ask for the money back, but it is past the 30 days for Amazon. Still looking for a program at this point. I would have given it no stars, but that is not an option.

I was devastated when I lost 80% of my images when transferring them from my camera to my tablet during a trip far from home. I knew they were either lost forever or had to pay a lot of money at my local photo or electronic store to get them back.

I finally bumped into this and saw the price was 50 with shipping and handling but knew it was investment if I hit the lottery with it.

I tried it when it arrived and 99% of the images were recovered! The rest were permanently damaged. I am glad to have found this program.

While this product was by far the cleanest and seemingly effective way I tried to recover formatted files, unfortunately it did not work. As you'll see in a previous review, their customer service is not great. They advertise a 100% satisfaction guarantee and it took me far too long to get a refund for a product that didn't work for me. But in the end, they did issue the refund (hence the 4 star review).
